Visit date - 09/02 It’s a great store with lot of options for India kitchen appliances and great prices too. Not just kitchen appliances, I’ve seen some Carrom boards, appliance’s spare parts too. I’d strongly recommend this store if you are looking for some India kitchen appliances and if you are in Chicago or traveling through Chicago. The prices are very reasonable when compared to local grocery stores where the similar items are sold. Also they provide good discounts.

Looks Great Product! Found a product here even Amazon doesn't have. I purchased a Preethi Blue Leaf Platinum Jar 1.7 ltr, which looks good and matches exactly as same as the Original. This also looks like OEM Product. The only concern is cost is little high side, but it is worth to buy instead of buying a complete Mixer Grinder.

1st time. We purchased 5 steel dabba set of 20 dollars and 1 box lid is not good enough. We opened and checked since they don’t have return policy. However seller is determined to push the product and ensure it’s sold. Reduced 5 and received 4 boxes. Seller is focused ONLY on SALES. I needed a small fuse to fix a voltage converter I have had for years. I googled it, found Gandhi Appliances, which has an easy online ordering form. Within a few days I had four fuses for $5 delivered via USPS. It was fast, easy and inexpensive. Without a fuse, the converter and the lamp connected to it would have been inoperable and destined to be junk. I'm really glad to be able to keep what I have going. Better for the planet 🙂. The inventory and the pricing is great. But one of the sales person lacked the basics of customer interaction, and was dismissive and rude at times. Really like this place. One of the best places in Chicago that caters to Indians for cooking utensils - you can get almost anything there. Many of the indian items you buy on Amazon US is shipped by Gandhi Appliances - things like pressure cookers, Ultra Wet Grinders, Mixie, kadai, cooking vessels, you name it they have it. They also have a small selection of food items 😉. Prices are reasonable - definitely cheaper than ordering from Amazon (about $50 less) if you have the option of going to the store. Staff is very friendly and helpful. And happy to see them wearing masks in the store. Parking there is a slight nightmare. Overall happy with our experience

There are many sites listing rubber gaskets for Prestige cooker which has several models that are further classified as Stainless steel and aluminum. So chances are good that you may order a wrong part number. Gandhi appliances describes the outer diameter of rubber gasket with SKU # from OEM. You cannot order a wrong part number. Their service is prompt, product delivered on time.

I bought preethi mixer grinder from their website directly, the price here was less when compared to other websites like amazon or walmart or other e-commerce portals, for same model. There is one single person manning the place, and after visiting the store, I can understand why some people complain about poor customer service, especially on the phone. He was kinda hard to understand in person itself. In order to get a new mixie I went there, looked at the array of unboxed mixers, and bought a new one still in the box. The clerk opened and showed the contents to us. They have some interesting desi kitchen utilities as well, in the store.
