For the past few months I’ve been pricing beds for my home. So I decided to walk in to your store and I was greeted with a huge smile from Autumn and was very professional while asking if I needed any assistance. After looking around I came up to the service desk had a few questions and all 3 ladies behind the desk was happy to answer all my questions. Autumn, Hope and Kayla was behind the desk they helped me with all my questions. With such an amazing experience from the staff and these 3 ladies behind the desk helping me with my 900 questions I will definitely be back to make my purchase. It’s hard to find good customer service in places now a days but I will say you have the perfect team. They all deserve a raise.

I placed my order over the phone and the Assistant Crystal @ South Charleston store was above and beyond fabulous. She worked with me from a mailer I had received. She took the time to find the same mailer and help me with the purchase I wanted to make , right down to delivery, removal and monthly payment. She found me the best payment for my budget . I bought my washer and dryer a couple years ago through Big Sandy's and was very pleased with them. I will always be a Big Sandy's shopper.

I am super indecisive and it usually takes me awhile to decide but I had a great saleswoman who helped me pick out the right piece for my family- if it wasn't for her I probably wouldn't have bought anything that day. Great place! Walked in, nice lady met us at the door. We showed her a pic of living room furniture we saw on Facebook and she took us to see it. Sat on the sofa and said, “we’ll take it!” 10 minutes later we walked out the door with the paperwork and a schedule for delivery. Very easy and we used our Synchrony account. We’ve bought several big purchases the past several years. Will continue to shop at Big Sandy Superstore

The sales staff was very knowledgeable and friendly. They helped me select my items and worked out best price and financing. However things went to hell in a handbasket after that. The contracted delivery service made excuses two days running as to when the items would be delivered. When things were finally delivered the install was a nightmare. Should I ever buy from Big Sandy again, I will make arrangements to pick up the items myself.

Where, oh, where do I even begin? Upon moving to Charleston, I found myself in need of a new sectional couch and television stand. I could not bring most of my old furniture with me, and I wanted to take this opportunity to invest in high-quality pieces. During my first week in West Virginia, I Googled "best furniture store in West Virginia" and discovered Big Sandy. I'm certainly glad about this. My experience at the Southridge Boulevard location surpassed the lofty expectations set by the glowing reviews, which is saying something. The sales associate, Autumn, made me feel at ease during the entire process and comfortable with the available financing options. She assisted me with the delivery process, and everything went smoothly. I love the couch and TV stand I picked out, but I am most happy about the recliner Autumn suggested after I mentioned perhaps wanting one of those too. I can't recommend Big Sandy enough if you want to purchase furniture in the Charleston area.

I have a couple thoughts about my visit to BS. 1. Hanna was very pleasant and a lot of help. 2. I don't like having to log into Google to do this. 3. I wasn't impressed with your process of handling payments. It was very slow. 4. We were going to take the piece with us that we bought and had to stand in line again before picking up the chair in the back of your store. It seems to me that once payment is made the buyer should be able to go to the back of the store at our leisure to get the chair.

There was a bit of a delay with shipping times (still much shorter than other retailers), but Autumn went above and beyond to find a solution and keep me informed. A minor hiccup happened during delivery and Autumn addressed the issue directly and right away, and all while she was not even clocked in at work! I am super impressed with her - her level of customer service, attentiveness, and commitment to making things right made my experience an 11/10. I wish there were Autumn’s at every store, but I guess that’s what makes Big Sandy so special. She’s seriously the crown jewel of this joint. Thank you again for everything, girl!

We were greeted as soon as we walked in. The great thing was she allowed us to look without following us. She checked in while we looked and answered any questions. We fell in love with a sectional but it was a little more than we wanted to pay and one piece wasn’t in stock. So they switched it out with one that was in stock so we could get a full sectional instead of waiting and the bonus was it was $300 off which put it in our price range. The online credit approval was quick and easy and gave us several choices of how to pay. I can’t say there was anything we would change. Best experience I have ever had in a furniture store. We will be back!

We have always had great service and been treated with respect, very friendly atmosphere. We talked to our salesperson Mike, the day before about a refrigerator that was in the ad. He was very helpful then but we told him weren't for sure yet but would let him know and the circumstances. He was very understanding, so we did our looking around and trying to figure out problem with old one with no luck. Made the trip today and he showed us the refrigerator and we looked at another, weighed the difference between them and decided on fridge we purchased. I was skeptical of the pricing and quality after seeing ads every week, but finally decided to go see what it's all about. When we pulled up out in front of the store, it was pouring down rain, and they were having a tent sale event. The sofas were getting absolutely SOAKED!!! When we told a store employee about it, he chuckled and said they'd be discounted, but when I pursued it, he said they'll be fine. So, we bought a tv, no furniture, and not even the tv we went in for. Wasn't a bad experience per se, but we probably won't ever buy a sofa here!

This man was very rude and condescending. Seemed arrogant and rude towards Janice. I was tempted to say something, but didn't. I've bought furniture from here twice. Luckily, both times I've bought the extended warranty. The first time through I was looking for a set of recliners. The sales team was happy to help with any questions I had. The lady whom I worked with showed me their best selling and her personal favorites. We ended up buying two recliners. One was more stationary while the other had a swivel. The swivel one was fairly problematic and had to be serviced a few times, but since then we've had no issues with either one. The second go round, I was looking for a couch and love seat or sectional. I spent nearly an hour looking before finding what I thought was a nice reclining couch, reclining love seat, and recliner set. I went ahead and bought the extended warranty, because you never know. After a couple of weeks we had our full set and thought everything was great. Queue the issues. Within the first 7 months I had issues with the love seat. The service tech came out a week later to take look. The tech told me that it'd probably be 6 - 8 weeks for parts. Within a month the tech was back out with parts and the love seat fixed. (The tech in our area is great.). 2 months after that issue, the couch had the same issue along with a broken zipper on the foot rest. I called and the tech showed up a couple of weeks later. The tech wrote up the work order then left. I was then messaged by Big Sandy that it would be 8 - 10 weeks before they'd receive my parts because they're coming from overseas with an ETA 9/10. On 9/24 I was notified that our parts still haven't been received and given a new ETA of 10/4. On 10/7, I was given a new ETA of 10/18. Our 8 - 10 weeks for parts has turned into a 15 week wait. Update: repair has been delayed yet again. ETA is 11/15. Really?!? I understand stuff breaks, not everything comes from the factory in perfect condition, but I've had so many issues with the furniture I've bought from Big Sandy. To add to all the issues, make me wait 3 months to get something fixed is absurd. While waiting on parts for my couch, the love seat has started having issues again. I don't know if it's worth my time to call that in. It may be another 3 months before that can be fixed. Follow up: after the last delay I decided to contact the store directly to see if I could get some assistance with my issue. Apparently the manufacturer was to blame for the long wait. Adam, I believe was a sales manager, offered to give me store credit because of the manufacturer's issues. I walked in, found a replacement couch, and signed some papers. The couch was delivered within a week and Big Sandy took our junk furniture. Make sure you research the brands of furniture before going to the store. Some manufacturers are overseas, which was the case for the furniture we had so many issues with. After our last set, we decided to only buy furniture made in the USA. Also, if you don't feel like you're getting your questions answered then talk to someone else, they may be able to help you out. While not every manufacturer stands behind their product, Big Sandy will do their best to remedy the issue. Thanks again Adam for resolving our issue.

She led us to the area of the bedroom suites. Linda, our sales lady, was very knowledgeable and helpful as we questioned her about everything from sturdiness to, of course the cost. My husband and I finalized the purchase as Linda reassured us that if we had any problems with our purchase, we could call her to help us. In the last few weeks I have looked at kitchen appliances in many, many locations. I shopped at competetitor's locations as well as other Big Sandy locations, both locally and elsewhere. Jay was VERY helpful! He exhibited great product knowledge. He clearly and respectfully articulated the features and benefits of each appliance. My husband drove over and picked it up and he and my son hooked it up, did a test wash on it and water started pouring out the door until the door flew open and my whole floor flooded. I would have rather placed the order through the website or over the phone if I could due to the current pandemic.

Experience was great. Purple mattress was in stock, loaded and on the way. One suggestion, the kiosk is located at the front of the store, to input your personal information, and it feels as though you have an audience, even if you don’t. Solution: turn it around, so there’s no privacy issue. I realize the numbers disappear as soon as you type them in, but for privacy, just turn around the kiosk. Problem solved.

Shopping and credit was easy. I purchased washer and dryer, was simply shocked that after purchasing and preparing for delivery I was informed there would be an additional 70.00 fee to hookup because they won’t hook up with existing hoses and cord for dryer. Ridiculous fee I don’t think I would purchase any appliances from them again. Purchased a stove from Lowe’s they hooked up FREE ! P.S. the washer set was 1,500 I really think set up should be free my friend hooked it up in 10 minutes both washer and dryer.

I went to get a new TV, I told the sales person that I needed a TV with Netflix and I had a fire stick, you need Wi-Fi for both, I got home and hooked the TV up and found out it dose not have Wi-Fi setting, will be taking it back in the morning! Usually I have been very happy with Big Sandy but not this time we will see how tomorrow goes! Took the TV back 8/16/18 and they were very helpful and was very sorry for the mix up, only thing I had to go to Teays Valley to get it but they did compensate me for it, great store great staff!
