Shawn was very helpful today when we went in to enquire about upgrading to new cameras. We hit the jackpot finding 2 cameras we wanted in stock. It's been difficult to find any in stock since covid. We each bought one of 2 different models, the only ones they had in stock. Shawn was great without pushing sales, but we already knew what we wanted too. We are happy with our new cameras and our service.

Green Mountain Camera has been my “go-to” camera store for a few years now and I’ve always been impressed - with their products, services, membership, etc. Recently I had to order extra-large prints for the first time, however, and couldn’t get to the store for assistance. When I called, Jen took charge and went through everything with me by phone. She went above and beyond, remaining patient and following along with me so that she could redirect me when I got lost. To say the experience was a real positive is an understatement. Green Mountain Camera has now become my FOREVER camera store! Thank you, Jen!

They sure do take their sweet time developing film which is understandable because it has to be sent to other labs and such, however… there other other developers in the area who get it to you much faster and more conveniently. (Their Dropbox system thru email is very dated) I do appreciate what they’ve done for me in terms of helping with equipment and set up direction. And I am grateful for the photos I have received buttt I’m constantly left with regret from going back to them and paying for their services! Their team is helpful and generous but it’s frustrating when they are constantly getting you to buy film/use their film services when they just don’t do a great job at developing in a timely manner. Also- apparently I had a messed up “blank” roll of film… could’ve been my fault but who knows, they didn’t send me an email or let me know so I ended up calling and they told me then but it was very disappointing and I wish they let me know sooner. In conclusion I have been disappointed more often than pleased with my experience here. :( Also keep in mind I’ve never once in my life had the urge to write a review until now so this is coming from the heart haha.

Always had great service, I was on a time crunch and wanted to trade some gear. The team was very accommodating, had my tripods and filters appraised in less than an hour, and I was out the door with a fair price and some new goodies. Highly recommend bringing your business to these guys, they know the ropes!

All I can say is wow. The customer service provided by Green mountain is incredible, I received fast responses to emailed questions about stock and the status of my order. Coming from a primarily Amazon customer its a bit of shock at how much more intuitive and personal shopping at a smaller store like GM camera is. I am blown away by their selection and ability to get me hard to find items! I am telling all of my friends and family to shop here for their photography needs and it has become my main retailer for my increasing demand for the latest and greatest photography gear!

The service here is excellent. I dealt with the same employee both times I visited, and both times he was incredibly helpful, polite, and informative. I will say that I wish that they carried more analogue film products, but I would highly recommend this store if you're looking to purchase a digital camera or equipment like camera bags, straps, photo storage books/albums, lenses, filters, etc.

I recently purchased a new digital camera from this store. After adding lenses and accessories, it was an unusually expensive purchase. So I spent a lot of time asking questions and the gentleman looking after me was really helpful. Bryan, a very knowledgeable and experienced camera expert, answered all my questions with the greatest detail and patience. I’ve had my camera for about a week and am so happy with my purchase. The digital photo printing service is wonderfully convenient and high-quality. The system they use allows you to upload photos right from your phone, which is where most of my photos live, and get them turned into prints. It's a treat to have physical copies of favorite photos.

I totally screwed up ordering a replacement part for a tripod via Amazon and knew that I needed to talk to an IRL human to get it right. Green Mtn Camera staff was fantastic answering my questions, they had quick and friendly service, and I was able to walk in and out with my new part the same day (faster than Amazon Prime and way better!). Then, when I lost my receipt (a work purchase), they were able to recreate it quickly, saving the day. I am super pleased with my whole experience (and the part!).

The staff here was so helpful. I bought my new Nikon on sale from this store on Black Friday (I know I’m posting this a bit late), but they were so great about holding a camera for me, appraising my camera, and giving me extra lens caps when I realized Nikon doesn’t give you caps for both sides of the lens anymore. So much better than a Best Buy or Walmart!

Recently left a not so good review of this store. I usually send my rolls of film to labs in NYC or California but decided to try a new place. I assumed the lab could push process film and explained when I dropped it off that's what I wanted. The employee didn't really know what I was talking about and took the rolls anyway. They don't process film at any other speed than box speed and so two of the rolls were underexposed. I wasn't too happy, but a rep from the store called and took off the cost of both of the rolls and replaced the rolls of film that had been mistakenly developed. Really nice, and I appreciate it. - Good store for a quick develop, but they do not push or pull film so if that's what you want I'd send it to another lab.

Over more than half a century of my rewarding adventure with photography, I interacted with many photographic shops and their employees. With no exaggeration of any kind, Tessa’s subject matter knowledge, professional service, her precise guidance and friendly attitude have made my recent transaction with Green Mountain Camera the most pleasurable photographic experience ever. I recently purchased the 2020 Olympus OM-D E-M5 Mark III from Green Mountain Camera and traded-in my old Nikon system. Tessa effectively guided me thru all the steps in that process, from the beginning thru the end, and offered me a very generous value for my trade-in equipment. My new camera just arrived yesterday. I am now diving into learning about this brand and model and could not be happier from my recent experiences with Green Mountain Camera. Info about GERMAN passport photos. This review in NO WAY reflects the service of the staff, they were excellent. However, the store does gouge you on prices of international passport photos – charging $25, or $10 more, than their US passport photos. They can do this because they're the only shop in the area who offers this service. I got some photos from them for my German passport renewal because I knew I wouldn't have time to have it done in Boston by the lady who did my last passport photos for $10. IF YOU ARE GOING TO THE GERMAN CONSULATE IN BOSTON: I found out yesterday that they now have a photo booth on-site to get passport photos for $5. This is by far the best option, and saves you a trip to GMC who charges a premium because they know they can. This review is in hopes of informing other potential customers who need German passport photos to just get them done at the consulate.

I'm a regular and a club member but GMC really went over and above this week. I had deleted an image I had just used for X-Mas cards by mistake. Ali, the print manager, was able to find it on their machine and completed a re-order without even breaking a sweat. Thanks GMC!

Do not go there for film. I have sent film in and had missing rolls twice now in 5 rounds. they are expensive and the new place downtown is much cheaper. :(
