Jason and Shawn did an excellent job of delivery and hauling away the old one! Very happy customer and recommend Jim's appliance!

Build Physio & Performance

Ursula was our sales person at Jim's appliance and we ordered a Speed Queen washer/dryer set and a Gorgeous refrigerator ! Unfortunately, the GORGEOUS refrigerator protruded too far into the island because the builder changed the position of the island. I was Panicked, until Ursula set a time for me to order a different, counter-depth refrigerator and arranged to have it swapped out. PHEW ! Excellent Customer Service !

He gave me all the options and information I needed to make decisions on kitchen appliances to upgrade a family kitchen and I placed the order the next day. Even being short staffed the days I went in, I was pleasantly welcomed and never rushed while we went through details of all the appliances. Gary even gave me the best delivery options to get the appliances to Sun Valley. It was a great experience overall.

I recently had an opportunity to work with Gary Ball for a second time since the fall of 2021. I purchased our first rental house in Boise during the latter part of 2021 and we needed to find a refrigerator for a tenant who was arriving within a short period of time. Our property management company, told us that Jim's Appliance would be the best place for us to fill the order. I ended up working with Gary Ball, who came up with a solution that was a perfect fit for our needs. As you know, finding the right large appliance in today's supply chain environment can be very challenging. Gary worked very hard to make sure we ended up with a good "reefer" and accomplished the task in time for us to provide our tenant with a refrigerator instead of an excuse! So, when we recently purchased our second rental house in Boise, I contacted Gary again to see if he could work his "magic" one more time. This time, the time frame was even tighter than it was in the prior situation. The management company called me on Thursday of last week and said that they had just rented the new house to a tenant that would be arriving from Seattle on June 22nd. We needed to find a 36" wide, counter depth reefer that we could purchase at a reasonable price point. Once again, I knew this would not be an easy assignment given the delivery times typically available for this type of unit. Well, to make a long story short, over the course of the day, Gary kept looking for possible solutions. It took some time and certainly a lot of effort; but Gary's "can do" attitude, once again yielded results. He ended up finding a perfect solution for the problem we were facing. Our new house will have a great counter depth refrigerator delivered and installed prior to the tenant's June 22nd move in date. Gary made it happen and in doing so has made us Jim's Appliance customers for life.

Our 2002 wall oven died and was no longer serviceable under warranty but was also built prior to standardized sizing. We visited several big box stores and while the staff tried to help, they were often pulled from another Dept and had little knowledge of the product. We visited Jim's late on a Saturday afternoon. Marshall Grey was knowledgeable and was able point us at two possible options. We returned home with information and measurements to be able to make a decision. Called back to place the order and I had a copy of the receipt in my inbox within the hour - after closing time! We will be back to Jim's for our next appliance.

My parents are senior citizens. Buying a new appliance is a big deal to them. Additionally, they have it in their heads that the "bigger" the store the better the deal. I researched online and they looked at some ads and off we went. So very glad we all ended up at Jim's Appliance! Not only did Jim's price slightly beat that of the big box store, delivery AND installation was free. My parents were treated so well. The salesman brought a chair for my dad and had a great sense of humor. And--these guys know their stuff. I don't know why I researched refrigerators when I could have had our guy just tell me the pros and cons of each one to begin with. Before you buy at a big store, go to Jim's. Oh yeah, its also family owned and has been forever.

Transaction was quick and easy, friendly service but no high pressure salesman hovering while I shopped. We had the BEST experience working with Ken at Jim's Appliance. Needed a new front-load washer and dryer. Did my research and thought we wanted a Maytag. Worked with Ken to confirm dimensions and realized the model we wanted wouldn't fit in our space. He helped us consider alternatives and got a set of LGs lined up for delivery. Only hang-up -- was going to take 10 days with the holiday to be delivered. Without missing a beat, Ken offered to get a loaner washer delivered to our house within the next couple of days until our set came in. I cannot believe this service. The team is also going to deliver and install our new set and remove our old set at no additional cost. We wouldn't get this kind of service from a big old box chain. I encourage everyone in the Treasure Valley to shop local. The service and expertise cannot compare.

Okay, I was a little skeptical of buying all of our appliances from a local store, because we had a smaller budget, but this place is the greatest. They got us the best deal I could find (including online) for the set we wanted, and everyone we worked with was down to earth, reasonable, and kind. We purchased a GE Profile wall oven and combination microwave this month. Jim's had the best price and received it from the northwest warehouse in 3 days. Two days later it was perfectly installed by Ron of Pro Appliance. The installation required some carpentry skills which was accomplished efficiently and professionally. Incredible service, I will definitely be a repeat customer! Within 72 hours Jim's appliance delivered and installed my new washer dryer set. Sean and Andy removed my old W/D, waited for me to clean the area and then went above and beyond installing the new set in a VERY tight space (Sean had to climb over the W/D after the installation). Visited Jim's and bought a refrigerator and dish washer mid-week. Our old refrigerator had died and I thought the salesman said we would have our new refrigerator the following week. Unfortunately, it wasn't delivered until the week after. We had to live out of coolers until it arrived, a bit of an unexpected inconvenience. When they were delivered, the dishwasher couldn't be installed because of a missing part, which was an additional charge. The dishwasher was delivered and installed a few days later. Overall the service was only satisfactory. We like both appliances.
