John at Express Appliance was outstanding!! I called the manufacture of my mini fridge and they said the compressor relay switch I needed was discontinued. I searched all over online and never found it. I called John and he looked up my fridge and was unable to find the part as well. John asked for a few photos of my relay switch to see if he could help. I sent them over and within minutes he had a solution for me. It was not the same part, but very similar. John walked me through how to install the new part and it was very easy! John even asked for me to bring in the old switch so he could test it to make sure that was for sure the issue. (This was because once I purchased and opened the new part, it was non-returnable) This is amazing customer service!!! Because of the outstanding service John provided, I will be referring everyone to Express Appliance and will use them in the future for any appliance need. Thanks again, you made my day!!

We bought an LG French door refrigerator in September 2021 for about $500 less than other local stores were charging. John was very helpful in helping us find a model that fit into our restricted space and gave us the features we wanted. The craft ice maker stopped working recently, and a service technician came out promptly and replaced it under warranty--and the new one is working fine.

Ages ago, these guys impressed me because they went above and beyond to honor a refrigerator warranty that I had purchased from the previous owners. They're at the top of my list when I'm shopping for home appliances. Up until now I have always purchased refurbs from them, and have had very good luck. This time, I decided to buy a brand new range. The selection was limited because of the Black Friday sale, but my oven had died so I needed to make a choice right away. I was torn between a couple of units; one with just the basics, and the other with more bells and whistles than I needed, but some features that I really liked. As I thought out loud trying to decide between the two, I saw a light-bulb go on in John's head! He had me follow him to the back warehouse area, where he tore open a box, and there it was! Exactly what I had in mind, with the features I was looking for, and nothing that I didn't need. Thank you, John, for paying attention and "reading between the lines" of my thought process, to come up with the perfect solution.

I went here after seeing an ad on Craigslist for a refurbished washer, they helped me as I looked through the different washers and gave me a great deal when I found the one I wanted. When they delivered my washing machine the hauled off my old one to recycle it. I plan on buying my refrigerator here when we need one. Plus 90 days full warranty if something happens! And filling out the application for financing was really easy and I was approved less than 10 mins.

These guys are a class act. I saw an ad online for a specific model fridge at a really good price. I communicated online with somebody at their Nampa location who confirmed the item hadn’t been sold yet and was in their Boise location. When I got to the Boise location the fridge wasn’t there, just similar models for nearly twice the price. The sales guy guy came back after calling the guy in Nampa and said he must have made an error and apologized to me. He then told me that they stand behind their marketing and even though it may have been sold or there may have been an error, that I can choose from the similar models there and they would honor the price on one of those. I ended up with an even better fridge for an unbeatable price. I had no expectation for them to do this, and I suspect most wouldn’t, so it was a really pleasant surprise. Actions speak far louder than words and this company showed their true colors of being very customer centric and standing behind their word. That is pretty rare in this day and age.

Originally had a rather poor experience with a dishwasher install and left a negative review in frustration. An oops and a few miscommunication errors turned what should have been a quick process into a month long ordeal. I met a few different techs during this time and they were all pretty nice people. Eventually got the dishwasher installed but ended up having a drain issue. Ended up talking to Scott who sent someone out the same day within a few hours, talk about service. I understand things can go wrong but the professional desire to make things right in the end really sealed the deal. They could have left me high and dry and been horribly condescending the entire time.

So, just bought a used washer from Express Appliance Outlet. It should be delivered within the week. We were lucky enough to have the help of Scott and he helped us pick out the washer for our needs. I called this morning with a dryer that wasn't working. I asked if they had parts for my particular type of dryer I gave them the model number on the phone and they said they did. The gentleman on the phone started asking me questions and helping me troubleshoot the dryer and just a minute or two he helped me verify what I needed to check and how to do it. Following his simple instructions I removed my thermal switch from a panel in the front of the dryer and drove on down. I handed the gentleman the fuse I removed and he tested it and it was indeed bad I bought a replacement on a Saturday afternoon no less, drove home replaced the fuse and within minutes I have a running dryer again. I had never been in before but I will definitely be back I purchased other places and I will definitely choose Express Appliance Repair as my first stop.

My old refrigerator died, and my new fridge was back ordered 4 months. The new appliance store where I purchased my new refrigerator had no other cheap alternative for the 4 months that I would need a back up fridge. Express had one of the only matching tipped load sets in the valley, bought them yesterday! Unfortunately the tech who diagnosed my old set ghosted after agreeing to deliver/remove, set up new set. That meant I was SOL on delivery. Problem is, I’m VERY PREGNANT. Like, due tomorrow and having a home birth. It’s gonna get messy and we need a working washer! Tim at Express let me pay over the phone and his team found a way to get me same day delivery by going out of their way. His team moved my old set and installed the new one to make sure I was good to go. Great scratch/dent set, Great price, Great service with Tim and AMAZING how they helped me before baby gets here! One less thing to stress about. Now to run another load of laundry :)

This is an excellent place to pick up a brand new appliance for a great price. While this is a ding and dent liquidation store, much of the damage is superficial or hard to see. Tim was especially friendly and helpful and gave us all the info we needed without hovering or following us around. Delivery and installation is affordable and all of the appliances come with a year-long warranty. We will be returning for our next big appliance!

I asked for black dishwashers,guy said we dont sell used dishwashers lol i didnt ask for one,he showed me one real quick it would be 260 to deliver and install😳 that seems to be alittle steep,so i looked at other ones plus stove and fridges want to go to all black appliances,another man said will help shortly,i understand they were busy,seen some i liked but 260 install bugged me so went to home depot and purchased new GE dishwasher & stove in black for 989 plus 150 deliver,install and take away old ones. Sorry guys i try to buy local when i can.

Timothy was super helpful on the phone as I searched for a stove control knob. He offered to let me search through a bin of used ones to see if I could find what I was looking for. I did not find it but ended up ordering it from him and I appreciated that I did not have to pay shipping by doing this, and he also was kind enough to offer me a cold drink while I looked through the bin. I would recommend this business if you are looking for appliance parts and they have a wonderful inventory of gently used or dented appliances!

I bought a refrigerator today for my rental and my experience was absolutely fantastic! I had first went to a discount name brand department store but the prices were too high for what I wanted. I arrived at Express Appliance around 11:30 and found the simple brand name refrigerator for my rental in no time. The employees at the counter were extremely busy with phone calls and customers in addition vendors dropping off product. I was pleasantly surprised when John with the nice looking beard looked up and said I will be right with you. He ended up helping me measure the right refrigerator and I ended up getting it delivered in just two days! John was so helpful and friendly. I definitely will go back to Express Appliance in the future. I highly recommend you ask for John with the red beard if you want great customer service!

It has been about a month since I purchased a refrigerator for a rental I manage at Express Appliance. I made the purchase decision but the rental owner gave me permission to buy it. My past experience with Express appliance and with the predecessor store at the same location -also selling good used appliances gave me the confidence to recommend this purchase over buying a scratch and dent from a new sales outlet at a substantially higher price. I've lost count of how many stoves, washers and dryers and refrigerators I've bought from these guys and from their affiliate across the street - Wes' Appliances. I've even consulted with them about issues with existing units and they have helped me buy parts and accepted them back for a full refund (as long as the package wasn't opened) when they were not the right part. Over all they really deserve a 5 star rating. They listen and try to make relevant suggestions. I will continue to shop at the Orchard street locations and encourage you to give them a try. BTW.. i posted a longer recommendation on YELP but it has to do with buying used versus buying new and I recommend Express Appliance there too.

I bought a dryer off craigslist (yes...dumb move) and turns out it didn’t heat and the guy said it was refurbished, but what he didn’t tell me was that he did it...anyway, it was a whole saga. So, it was recommended to me to try and find a used one from an outlet store! I actually tried a store nearby and no such luck, but I went down the road a little bit and found Express Appliance Outlet and took a chance. I’m so glad I did. They were so kind to me and helpful! I love that they warranty their products! They helped me understand some different things about buying a used/refurbished dryer. What I was really excited about was that they even were willing to sell me a used dryer from a set because that was the one I wanted AND he changed out the cord for me to fit the # of prongs my outlet has. I’m sitting here typing this listening to my special dryer hum away feeling confident that I made a good purchase. So grateful. I am a super pleased with my experience thus far and so thankful as trying to find a washer and dryer was a nightmare until I came to them...and then it was simple. If you want peace of mind, a kind person who just wants to help you find what will suit your* needs, best, then come here. They care. There is a reason they have good reviews. 😌 so grateful.

My visit to Express Appliance was a great experience. Liz the sales Lady showed me all the Washers and how well they were taken care of. After talking to her for awhile I was sold. I bought the wash machine and took it home, tried it out and my wife and I were very happy. For what it is worth Liz was wearing a mask for Covid-19 reasons. I highly recommend this store to anyone taht wants a good used appliance. They weren't pushy but explained every thing very well. They even laded the machine into a Van.

I am giving this location 5 stars for all the previous interactions I’ve had here. Almost all of the staff is knowledgeable and helpful, but if my visit today was my first, it would’ve been my last. The older guy I dealt with didn’t ask a single question, instead told other than about my wife’s appearance, nor did he hear anything I said, just talked over me. In addition, to giving false information about dimensions, he continuously made back handed comments and kept trying to pull me around the store and show me things as if I’ve never seen a washer before. I would expect this kind of behavior from a used car lot. The only reason I’m writing this review is to hopefully catch the attention of management to see the severity of this. As I said above, future customers should definitely support this store and all my previous interactions were excellent. It’s a shame I’ll have to drive to the Nampa location to hopefully avoid this guy.

I tried to google the problem and thought I knew what was wrong. I had them order the part I needed and was going to fix it myself. When I went in to pick up the part, a member of their team asked me a couple more questions and made me aware that the issue wasn't what I thought it was, but something completely different. They switched out the part I needed and walked me through how to disassemble my dryer to fix the part and reassemble. They were right. We took the appliances away and installed ourselves correctly but the first load we did do there turned out to be a leak. We called them up and within 2 hours they had someone out to fix it! Just had a washer and dryer delivered to my apartment - the models were sold out everywhere nationwide, but they had a set AND at an amazing price! I am pretty sure they sold it to me at their cost after retrieving it from the wholesaler. The machine had a problem after one month out of the warranty, would not completed the second rinse. All Brands replaced the bad part quickly and covered it under the warranty. Have used these guys several times over the years for different appliances. Have always been very knowledgeable and willing to work with customer. I usually try to repair my own stuff, and they will always answer questions and give guidance. Will look up a part for you, and give part number to you so if you choose to order on web you can, (because 99% of the time they ARE the only company locally to have parts on hand). Sure, you can get cheaper on web, but are you willing to wait several days? Their mark-up on parts is VERY reasonable, especially if you tried ordering parts yourself and wanted next day delivery. Called up store today because my fridge took a dump. Jesse (repair technician) answered. He was willing to work with me on phone to diagnose my issue. Based upon my fridge's symptoms and his experience/knowledge, he quickly walked me thru removing the main control board. Yep, it was fried. Yep, he had it in stock. A quick trip All Brands, and in under an hour from my initial call I had the fridge up and running again. He even wanted me to bring old part with me just to verify that it was defective. These guys are awesome! Trust them for ALL your appliance repair needs, whether you're a do-it-your-selfer, or need a repair technician to do it for you. They have never steered me wrong, and are always willing to help in any manner possible. There are plenty of ways they could have gotten more money from me (like always insisting on a service call), but these guys BELIEVE in great service to their customers, there by ensuring that they get repeat business as well as people like me singing their praises and directing more customers their way, This is how ALL businesses should run! WOW- Mike Rocks! I just had my Kenmore Washer die on me... it ended up being a coupler that mates the motor with the actuator transmission. I was able to find the part on line but I would not get the part shipped to me for 10 days. So I called a bunch of places but they were all closed on Saturday and then I hit the jackpot! I found All Brands Appliances / Express Appliance on Orchard in Boise. I called them and they told me oh yeah we carry that part and we are open til 5:00pm. So I went there and picked up the part and I casually asked so is this a hard part to replace as I was going to try and fix it my self but I have never worked on a washer before.... This is where I was so so impressed... I was working with a guy named Mike and he said no not really, come on back here and let me show you real quick....WOW I was like really, ok...so to shorten this comment a bit we went back there and for about 10 minutes he showed me exactly what to do and was very thorough! So thorough that I went home and dove into my washer with his instructions fresh in my head and I was able to take the washer completely apart, shell, control panel, etc, tip the washer up so I could get to the broken part and then take the motor off replace the broken part and put it all back together again in about 45 minutes.... and it WORKED! THANK YOU MIKE!! I will be telling all my friends about this and you now have a life time customer! -Dan

A couple of years ago my dryer wasn't working. Every time I took a part in they would test it at no charge. I was able to get my dryer working by just paying for parts. We were on a tight budget so that was very helpful. We have a different dryer now but it just broke. I called a place closer to us to get help. The other place wasn't very helpful so I called All Brands Appliance and they walked me through what I needed to do to take the part off and bring it in. I'm going back to All Brands Appliance.

First off a lot of businesses claim 'customer service', this business defines 'customer service'. It has been a stressful week, all related to a single issue. On Sunday, my washer started acting up. The cold water would not turn off. On Monday the toilet valve went, plus the inside float assembly. On Tuesday, the well pump went, and the Oven stove's sensor went belly up. So you can imagine trying to get things back to normal after the massive expense ($1300) for the well pump. Stress level was through the roof. Calling this business, I was able to salvage the rest of the week, and the long weekend. They saved my sanity and some hard earned money. But that is not the best part of this business. The gentleman there demonstrated and walked me through replacing the washer solenoid, which I was able to do in under 30 min by myself. They are great and the went the extra TWO miles. Many thanks, and many kudos.
