Matt, from Cody's Appliance was our service provider today. He cleaned and diagnosed our gas fireplace and diagnosed our stove/oven. Matt was a great communicator both via text and in person. He was prompt and arrived as expected for our appointment. He clearly knows his craft well and explained what he was doing throughout the appointment. He also clearly explained the service warranty on his work. I would absolutely recommend Matt and Cody's Appliance Repair to my friends and neighbors with 100% confidence!

We are renters they were contracted to repair our gas fireplace! My Son in law was here for the service call and said the guy was super nice. I called after he left to ask questions and he was super kind to take the time to answer my questions and reassure me that the work he did was going to fix the problem! He was very positive that I would be happy when I got home and he was right! The fireplace is cleaner than when we moved in and we can only keep it on for about 45 minutes now then we are toasty! Use Cody’s now! Don’t look any further, this crew is top notch all around. I called with a broken dishwasher and the gal who answered was very cool and quickly got a repair technician out to our home. Hand washing dishes isn’t a huge deal but with a household of 7 people and cooking 3 meals a day and snacks the dishes added up. And I like modern conveniences but I don’t like throwing appliances in the trash to buy something new. So when the technician told us it would take another $400 and ordering a part we were pleased it could be fixed and less than the cost of a new machine. Naturally the piece was back ordered so I called multiple times to check on the progress. Each call was answered timely and friendly. When the part did arrive we got another visit scheduled quickly and the job was done very professionally. He placed a mat down, wore booties and a mask. He even placed a water detector beneath our machine to alarm us about any leaks. Very thorough, professional, kind and expedient. Thank you to every at Cody’s. I am now going to make zucchini muffins and not worry about how many dishes I dirty. =)

Cody's Appliance Repair actually ended up refunding me most of the money but they have earned a loyal customer! They tried to repair my dishwasher several times and replaced a couple parts all with no success. When it was determined best to replace the dish washer they refunded what they could, which was the majority of the costs. Very honest and hard workers, I will call them in the future for any work needing done.

It WORKS now! Jeremy was prompt and well prepared with the part that had to be ordered for the FTD error on our GE dishwasher. He was professional and personable. He explained how and why the dishwasher malfunctioned and how to prevent it in the future (maybe get an air gap from Home Depot) in addition to other suggestions. Jeremy came out to service our dryer. He knew what likely was the problem based off the description I gave him, took things apart and confirmed he was right. Replaced the problem and repaired it right there, he had all the parts in his truck. (even tightened up the dryer vent hose for me) . They were upfront about the pricing when I made the appointment over the phone and then he was upfront about my total before he did any work so there were no surprises. The cost seems fair considering its and dryer and literally everything costs more these days but its nice knowing that the repairs and maintenance were done to extend the longevity of our dryer. Plus, in general Jeremy just seems like a cool dude, he didn't even mind our dogs.

Zach is top notch. He has been to my home a few times now for some minor repairs. On one particular visit, he was working on my dishwasher. I had my washing machine running, doing laundry, on the 2nd story. From the day we bought it, the washer has been loud. We accepted it as normal. He noticed it and diagnosed the problem without us even asking. We scheduled it for repair the next week and the annoying noise is gone! He also inspected and cleaned our fireplace. It is sparkling clean. This most recent visit we had him out to clean the washing machine. Again, he left it sparkling clean. He had the whole tub pulled out to clean between. This was not an easy task, and I could see him working hard to make sure he got all the detergent build up out. He gave us great advice on how to prevent the build up problem going forward.

Had an issue with my oven not igniting when started. Cody's replaced my old ignitor last year and when I called about the problem, service technician Jeremy was sent out to solve the issue. They fixed the problem and did not charge for any parts or labor, just a fee for the service call. I am always pleased with Cody's and will be a long time customer.

I called the night before to have my dryer repaired. They had someone who could meet me the next morning, Saturday, at 9:00. I mentioned that I had to leave by 10:30. The repair tech called the night before and said he could be there a bit before 9. Showed up at 8:50 and started into the dryer. Replaced the parts that needed it and out the door by 10:20 with a 3-year warranty. I couldn't ask for better service, care and communication. They are saved in my contact list for future repairs and recommendations.

Minutes after I left a detailed review of the services, she called me and spoke at length about the issues, what could go better, and what went well. The technicians at Cody's are truly the best trained in the valley, and with a little human interaction they will go to nearly any length to fix the issue.

Ethan and Jim were great! On time and very courteous. Was even able to get a same day appointment, which is great! Our fridge sprung a leak which was pretty nerve wracking. Turns out our refrigerator issues were due to a filter problem, and they explained everything and answered my questions. They didn't try sell me into a "maintenance" program or subscription, which some other companies in the valley do. Paid for the service call fee and that was it. Fair prices and trustworthy. Matt sent me a txt about 10 minutes before he arrived, within the time frame I was given when I made my appointment. He was very nice and professional, explained everything to me and showed me everything that was wrong with my dryer and gave me all of my options for fixing it and what all of those options would cost and his professional opinion on all of them, as well as recommending a new washer/dryer set when this one goes out (because it will! While here fixing my dryer, he also looked at my fridge, micro and serviced my dishwasher that was filled with awful looking crud and would have died a premature death had he not gotten in there and cleaned out the gunk and showed me how to do it. Saved us from a huge fire hazard! — Had our dryer break down and scheduled an appointment that was a bit further out than we hoped, but they added us to standby and two days later they came to fix it. Was able to schedule an appointment roughly 24 hours from the call. The repairman showed up on time and was pleasant and interested in helping. The oven pilot light was fixed promptly and continues to work. The technician worked diligently to diagnose an issue with our refrigerator water dispenser and discovered the problem was related to a plumbing issue, outside the purview of appliance repair. Even though Cody's couldn't help with this repair, they called the plumber for me and made arrangements to have the issue resolved the next day. Truly invested in exceptional customer service.

I am thoroughly pleased with the service, professionalism, and overall experience with Cody's appliance. I called on Thursday night and left a message requesting a call to schedule service. I as contacted first thing Friday morning and was offered a service call on Saturday for no additional charge. I was given a window of when the tech would arrive but was given the option to call on Saturday morning and get a better idea of when he would arrive. On Saturday morning Ian S. arrived and was so pleasant. He worked diligently and professionally and showed me where and what the problem was. THESE GUYS ARE AWESOME! My dishwasher had a severe leak. I called Cody's based on some reviews that I had read. Their tech came out and fixed it pretty fast and efficiently. What makes this such an awesome experience is that; the leak had ruined my hardwood floors. The homeowners insurance would not pay the claim unless I produced the faulty part that cause the leak. Over a week later, I called Cody's and talked to a very pleasant woman with excellent customer service skills that assured me that she would help. She contacted the tech and he just happened to have kept the bad part "just in case". They worked to push my insurance claim through. I had already paid them in full, so there was no real benefit from doing this additional work for me but to just make sure they helped with my situation. Adam with Cody's Appliance Repair just left my house. I called yesterday just before they closed because I needed someone to blow out my dryer vent. I was pleasantly surprised when they gave me a window of noon to 3:00 the next day. I was told the assigned repairman would give me a call about 15 minutes before he showed up. As it happens, Adam was running early today. He called ahead to ask if it would be okay with me if he showed up before noon. Once he got here, he took a minute to greet my dogs and make them comfortable, even before he knew I was about to pass him a couple of treats to bribe them with. Andy?? was honest and thorough. When he told me the problem with my washer and discussed options, he agreed it was better to buy a new washer then spend half the cost of the washer on the repair. He checked my refrigerator and my dryer vents. UPDATE! Even better customer service! After Adam came out last week to fix our dryer it was running great till Fri (5/12) We heard this loud pop & then a burning smell. We immedialely truned off the dryer and I happend to see it was 4:45pm. So, I called Cody's right away since they close at 5pm to set up a new appt. They got us set up for this morning (Mon 5/15) Which was greatly appreciate since we couldn't do laundry over the weekend. Adam came over 1st thing & sure enough the belt broke. While my washer would have cost more to fix than buy a new one because of the huge part cost, their prompt and thorough service won me over. I especially appreciate their willingness to keep me updated on their expected arrival time - like everyone else, I'm busy and don't like waiting around for a repairman! I've used Cody's many times for 10+ years, in Eagle and now in Boise, and never once had anything short of stellar service, often with the company going the extra mile to help me avoid having to buy a new appliance/part. Cody once designed a workaround for the fan on an old JennAir for which parts were no longer available and just recently the tech was able to rebuild a dishwasher part, saving me about $100 over the cost of the new. I wish every business had the same commitment to quality and customer service as has Cody's. They're fast, on time and highly skilled; all the staff is exceptional. Matt is an exceptional technician. From the moment he introduced himself he was polite, professional and courteous. We bought a home and assumed both fireplaces were in working condition. As the temperatures plummeted we decided it was time to turn on those cozy fireplaces. Both failed. Matt was so incredibly thorough and explained everything he found wrong. We purchaced a Newley constructed home from Boise Hunter Homes and their subcontractor scratched our new ( expensive Thermadore Cooktop). Hunter Homes states that they ordered the front stainless panel several times over a two month time frame and actually never did. Had Cody's over to check out over the stove microwave that stopped working. As predicted, the circuit board costs more than the entire unit so I declined and later found a used microwave. Same technicians came a few weeks later and removed old microwave and installed the new (used) microwave. It required getting new mounting screws and drilling new holes for installation because it was a different brand of microwave. The technicians were VERY courteous and professional. I would call Cody's again!

We had a drain issue with our washing machine in December. We called the department store we bought the machine from and they sent a very helpful technician out and he showed us how to maintain the machine and that was the end of the problem or so we thought. A few days ago, it stopped draining again and we once again called out the same repair service, the technician was very rude and unhelpful. He took my entire washing machine apart only to find out the drain line was frozen. We called out a plumbing professional and had the line thawed out and during the time we called the plumber out the technician put the washing machine back together. After the line was thawed my husband went to plug the washer back in only to find out that the plug outlet had been sealed into the machine and had to take the top of the machine off to retreive it. Then he tried to start it and once again it would not drain or spin. After trying several times to get this problem rectified, to no avail, we opted to call Cody's. They came out the next day. Ian was an exceptional technician. He was very knowledgeable and polite. He knew exactly what to do and told me all of the costs up front and worked quickly to get my washer back up and running. After 45 minutes, he told me the prior technician had not plugged the drain pump back up and all our problems were due to the prior technician. I will never use anyone else but Cody's from now on!! It was the day before July 4th and my fridge and freezer stopped working with all the bar b que meat inside. I was referred to Cody appliance via another repair service company who could not fit me in until "sometime next week after Thursday". I called Cody and they had Gabriel at my door within a few hours. He walked in and had a good idea of the issue just from listening to the unit. After about 10 minutes of diagnostics, he zeroed in on the relay starter switch. After replacing the switch, the fridge came back to life and the food was saved. He not only fixed the issue the same day but also checked the water line and gave me other advice on maintenance and checks I should do on my specific model to keep it running far into the future. Gabriel was absolutely professional, courteous and had an excellent positive attitude. HUGE thanks to him and Cody Appliance Repair for getting here so fast and fixing the problem.
