It is my first time buying products from Ken. I ordered the beginning of the week and I received it by end of the day on Thursday. We began assembling on Saturday afternoon and took almost 8 hours to complete the desk. And after assembling the product we realized it was not what we ordered. I ordered Aussie II and they shipped Joey II. That night and until Monday morning before I called them I was worried and didn’t sleep well for two nights wondering if they will resolve the issue or it’ll be a headache as online purchases are not Ray if anything went wrong. I think I would have been the first person to call on Monday lol. I called Ken’s customer service and gave a brief details on the issue and was told that the supervisor or person In charge would call me back as soon as possible. Amanda called me within half an hour. I would have to tell She is the best. I was panicked before calling them. Usually any company would do their best to convince the customer to compromise with the product they sent. But she made me calm down the moment I spoke to her. I am sure she would have felt how panicked I was from my voice lol. She asked me to email the pictures and she said she’ll take care of the issue and don’t worry. That evening she called me back and said they would send me a replacement. She was real quick in resolving the issue. She was so good, empathy and open to listen to her customer. I am super happy with my product. Though there are some damage during shipping, but it did not affect its functionality. It’s not visible luckily and I’ll find some way to fix them. I am sure Ken will give me some tips on that. I will definitely shop at Ken’s sewing again and recommend to my family and friends.

Kens was really wonderful to work with. After ordering the table I sent an email about how long it would take being that I was excited, they responded immediately. Customer service was great! I saw the exact same table with other companies at a higher price. So glad I ordered from Kens.

My wife & I both ordered machines from Kens back in 2020 when people completely lost their minds from the “pandemic” so we were staying at home more than ever. The experience was overall a good one. My wife even brought her Janome back for maintenance about a year later & that went pretty smooth. And just the other day I brought my 2 year old machine back for a trade in & they were nice enough to give me a trade-for-trade on another NEW machine. Really great customer service & would recommend.

June 2022, I bought a Horn of America 17090 Deluxe 6 Way Adjustable Chair in Blue from Ken’s Sewing Center, who had it ship to me here in North Carolina, from Horn of America in Alabama. Super fast shipping and more than fantastic customer service.
My chair arrived in just a couple of days after it was shipped. I placed the order the evening before the chair was shipped.
The only problem I had was the package was missing a packet of hardware used to assemble the chair. Within a couple of hours of contacting them, the parts were shipped out to me, and apologies both in email and on a phone call.
I love the products and the wonderful customer support.

Just an outstanding experience from the beginning. Called to purchase a customer returned Juki TL machine I saw on their website. Super nice lady checked to make sure it was still available which it was and the purchased was made via credit card over the phone. This store is awsome. I took my Brother embroidery machine in due to needle threader not working properly. It was still under warranty. We drove 2 1/2 hours to get there. They replaced my threader while I waited. Took 15 minutes!! The repairman even came out to my car to get the machine. They're service is the best!

I just have to brag on how fast my order was processed and shipped! I decided to buy a sewing machine from Kens instead of Amazon, because I didn’t have to pay taxes and it was cheaper that way, but I was worried it would take a lot longer to get it.
However, I was pleasantly surprised as I ordered on Thursday and got it delivered on Sunday! So far, no complaints.

I have had only great service and help with Ken's
During the Covid-19 lock down in both AL & NC I was sure I couldn't get anything done. I was wrong, I sent emails to several places and only Ken's responded. I was able to talk to Jeremy about that I needed to fill in for what I already have.
Jeremy listened to the fact that I have a heavy duty machine that I can sew from 7/8" thick of 6oz stacked leather to heavy upholstery. I needed to fill in the gap to do smaller. I wanted a machine that would hold up and I had support for. I bought a Janome 6600 PRO that I love. I ordered it on Friday and received it on Monday to Western NC.
I can now sew from silk to saddles
I called in after the machine arrived with a couple of questions about the machine and its options. Every time I called Jeremy took my call and answered them with the best intentions. I never felt that I was up sold or under appreciated.

I purchased a used refurbished Janome HD 1000be to sew boat cushions on my boat 200.00 for machine sounded like a good deal.As my wife didn't care for the idea of me using her new computerized machine. Needless to say when my refurbished machine got here it had issues. So I got on phone and talked to one of the owners they said a return packing slip for machine and a replacement for the one I was sending back was on its way was here in two days. NOW THAT IS WHAT I CALL GOOD SERVICE. The machine they sent seems sent was like brand new im totally impressed with this company thanks Ken sewing Center.

I ordered my dream sewing machine (Janome MC 6650) from Ken's as they offered a refurbished one for a less-expensive price than brand new online. I called their store and spoke with Amber who answered all of my questions about why a machine is considered "Refurbished", the warranty, shipping, included accessories, etc. I was sold and gave her my credit card info without hesitation.
Later that day, the owner Kevin called me to make sure I was taken care of. He also ensured me that if I ever have an issue or question about the machine, to call them and they'll take of it - I live in Northern California btw. He is Ken's son and clearly takes pride in running a dedicated family business that takes care of the customers for life!
Ken's shop technicians looked over my Jenome before sending it to me. One week later and I have a solid, beautifully working sewing machine. I did email Amber back to confirm that I had received it, but it was missing two small accessories. She immediately sent off for those from Janome and also helped me with choosing the right feet for this particular model.
If I ever take a vacation to Alabama, I'm going to make it a point to stop by Ken's Sewing Center. I love knowing that I can support a small business even from across the country. I'm very happy with my experience and purchase.

I had, had my heart set on a new machine that had the most adorable decorative stitches I could find in my price range, @$4-5 hundred. I ordered it directly through Ken's, sight unseen(because not just COVID, SW Louisiana had Hurricane Laura tear through it, totally ripping apart stores and housing and anything else she could find. So no where to just go try one out.). Talked on the phone with them, did my radar, and bought it.
Then I get a call a few weeks before I'm expecting it. Shipping is delayed for months, would I be interested in a free upgrade to a different machine to be mailed right out? I looked up what they were offering me. I was not so very impressed. No adorable stitches. (The one big thing I wanted.) It took me another week to say okay.
Once I had it, I went back and forth on returning it! The tension nightmare! But the technicians at Ken's were wonderful, helping me work through it. Eventually we found out the whole bobbin case needed replacing. The new one was the trick!
Still unhappy about the stitches, then I found a FB quilting group that was showing off some really detailed free motion quilting. Lucky me I can draw most anything I want-suddenly I'm not so wound up about the lack of cute stitches!
Slowly I fell in love. Start/stop button. ❤️❤️❤️, Auto thread cutter, feed dog adjustment, and a free quilting foot kit to boot!
I can't begin to express the appreciation I have for Ken's sewing center! They are awesome!

I ordered an elusive Brother SE1900 for retail instead at the insane markup other sellers had them listed for; this was Thursday, 12/2 at 10:30 pm. I got a shipping notification the FOLLOWING MORNING (12/3) at 8:30 AM. Thinking it would take a couple days to get to me, I was very surprised when Fed Ex attempted delivery LESS THAN 36 HOURS LATER yesterday on 12/4 (I was not expecting it so early, so unfortunately I wasn't home). Unbeknownst to me, FedEx delivers on Sundays so I now have my machine in hand today (12/5)! From time of purchase to receiving my item, TAT was only 72 hours.
Very impressed with their speedy customer service, fair pricing, and thankful that signature was required for the delivery of my item. Very happy that I happened across their website on my late-night quest for this machine!

I had been searching for a belt for my hand held dirt devil vacuum. Since it was the first model that was put out it was very hard to find. After failed attempts I was told about Ken's sewing center delt with vacuums. I called and was very delighted when they had exactly what I needed. I'm pleased to tell you that the ppl working there made me feel right at home and didn't cost an arm to buy. I very highly recommend them. They also work on sewing machines and vacuums.

I purchased a Janome HD5000 around Thanksgiving of 2021 from Ken's. At first, I was a little hesitant buying a sewing machine from a company over 800 miles away. I talked with Amanda in sales, she answered my questions and gave me assurance that if I had a problem I would be taken care of.

I was sure I had written a review on Ken's but I don't see one, so here it is. I've purchased 3 Janome machines from them since July, 2020. A sewing machine, an embroidery machine and a serger. At first I was skeptical about buying over the phone, but Kevin patiently listened and advised each time to point me in the right direction for the right machine and accessories to meet my needs and expectations. I was not disappointed. I haven't needed service or maintenance yet, but when I do I will be shipping them back to Ken's because I trust them to do the right thing. In the mean time, Customer Service has been outstanding, even through the trying times of the pandemic. I highly recommend this business.

I wanted to have it work with my quilting frame I already had and Will was very accommodating in getting me set up to do such and didn't charge extra for the pieces needed to make it work. I recently purchased a new Juki machine from Ken’s. The extra foot I purchased broke and put the timing off. They took it back and re-timed the machine and shipped it back to me. Upon learning that I still had problems with the stitching, they scheduled a new machine to be sent to me. Best customer service I could have asked for. Honest people and proud to have shopped at a real store instead of purchasing on Amazon. Highly recommend!

I was skeptical to order a machine online so I wanted to call and speak with a representative before purchasing. They were more than helpful and I felt very comfortable in proceeding. I will note that the machine I ordered was an "advanced order" as the shipment from the manufacturer hadn't come yet but was on the way. I did call and wanted to add some accessories to that order a couple days later and that was handled well, no issue. I was notified within a few days that machine had come in and would be shipping out that same day! I received within 2 days but the extras I ordered didn't come. I called again and the lady was very professional and apologized, even sent me a few extra "goodies" to make up for not getting those items out to me asap! Was not necessary, but was a surprise for sure. These people here are all pleasant, and it's refreshing to see a company care so much about their customers' satisfaction to the degree that they do. I didn't feel like I was "just a number" but was treated with utmost care even though my purchase was relatively inexpensive. It's safe to say that they are now my go-to place! When Im ready to upgrade I'll be calling them first! Excellent prices btw!!

Oh, I’m so pleased to have found this place. I’ve been wanting a serger to try to learn it, and really just could not justify the money to buy one new, but was not confident to buy a random used one because sergers seem complicated and maybe delicate. Ken’s sewing Center had refurbished ones that came with everything I would need, and great instructional material, all for a great price—even free shipping. And the machine works just great. Thanks!!

This is the second machine I have purchased from Ken’s Sewing Center. I bought a Brother PE 770 about 4 years ago. It is still sewing along with over 3 million stitches. I purchased a Trade In Janome Skyline s3. The machine looks brand new. The instruction manual and foot pedal are both new. Best of all, I threaded her and began sewing right away. Buying online is always an "iffy" situation at best. Buying an expensive sewing machine on line can be really stressful. I knew I wanted a Janome to replace my 20yo Janome MC10000 and I did a lot of research into what machine to choose.
I looked at several websites (including local sew 'n vacs) and chose Ken's Sewing Center thanks to Tina, one of the best sales reps I've come across. Ken's in is AL and I am in VA for this was a decision I didn't take lightly.
Tine & I discussed what I considered "had to haves" on the machine and so I ordered the MC8200QCP with special attachment package.
I am so happy with the customer service I received when this machine was backordered and I upgraded to the Elna 720Pro instead. What a great machine! Unfortunately, it was not the best fit for me and I went back to the 8200QCP which I love.
Tina was very patient and extremely helpful. I recommend Ken's to anyone looking for a sewing machine or accessories.

Super happy with my Janome Cover Pro 1000 CPX that I ordered from Ken's Sewing Center. Shipment came super fast, machine worked great right out of the box. Only glitch was they forgot to ship my bonus kit, but I called right away and they shipped it to me the next day. It wasn't supposed to arrive until Monday next week, but it was delivered today on Saturday. Thanks everyone at Ken's.

Excellent customer service and huge selection. My wife and I own a small handmade apparel company and were able to purchase equipment and supplies from Ken's very quickly and easily, even during the quarantine. We then purchased an embroidery machine by Janome and have had a blast experimenting and playing around with a new part of our business. Ken's was able to set us up with a huge assortment of thread as a starter kit for our machine and the colors they selected for us was awesome!

So far so good., I do not have any Dealers near me , I am disabled and can not get to one. I tried the dealers within 100 miles of me. Both were a tad shady. One wanted to charge me extra to use my CC. They said it was same as financing and Only could get the lower amount I I paid Cash. The other in Duluth Ga. really didn't want to talk to me since I told him I would not be the one to pick it up. So I was recommended Kens from a Facebook Group . I talked to Jeremy that first day. He didn't try to over sell me anything. He listened to what I wanted. I ended up getting just what I needed and nothing more. He didn't over sell anything. I bought a re-manufactured machine , that he said came with full warranty as a new one which gave me the extra to purchase the upgrade kit to expand. Maybe I can get basic software at later date.
Since I am out of state ( which makes me a bit nervous about getting service) which after 30 days, I am responsible for all shipping charges. He had my choice in here in 2 days and I didn't receive all the goodies some talk about such as starter packs or basic software but I did receive 4 spools of thread which I do like the quality. Plus he added the upgrade for me which I paid extra for but was kind enough to do it before he sent it. . My experience was a pleasant one. But the first couple I called made me want to forget about sizing up and forget dealing with any dealers.
Hopefully I will get the same service each time I call that I got the first few days that I was purchasing the machine..

This place rocks! Donna has been so very patient with me purchasing and learning my Brother PE-770 over the last 3 years. They go the 3rd and 4th mile to be helpful. Their prices are the very best. We recently ordered a new Janome sewing machine through Ken's via their Amazon Marketplace store (we felt like we needed the Amazon security blanket since we'd never dealt with Ken's before). What I didn't notice is that the listing on Ken's website included some extra feet that were not in the Amazon listing - this was MY mistake. Kind of makes sense, since Ken's needs to pay Amazon a commission.
My wife called to inquire, and the woman at Ken's who answered the phone (no phone menu, no transfer, no "I need to ask my manager") quickly said that she understood how we could have misunderstood the listing difference, and that she would send the extra feet free of charge. They just arrived today, 3 business days later.
I'm kind of impressed that Ken's made us whole on something that after all, was our mistake. Next time, I will definitely deal directly with Ken's and cut out the (Amazon) middleman. I'm really impressed and would recommend Ken's to anyone out there.

I was told by a sewing center in My area that my Janome MC compulock 888 serger couldn't be repaired because the tension board was out. I almost just left it there for parts! I was so disappointed. He had it for several months and never let me know the situation. I started to shop for a new serger. I didn't find anything I really wanted that was affordable. I called Kens sewing Center after seeing them on Amazon and e-bay in the past and asked to speak with someone who knows serger. I spoke to Jeremy I believe who works on them. He asked what I currently used and explained the situation. He said he had not heard of a tension board on that machine. He said if you are willing to send it to us I will look at your machine and if I can't fix it all you are out is the shipping. I decided to go for it. I shipped it and it was repaired and returned within about 10 days!!! These folks rock!!! I highly recommend them! If you have a Janome Compulock serger Jeremy is the man to work on them! It was almost a year ago it works like a charm to this day!

I ordered a refurbished Bernette b37 from Ken’s. When the machine came, I couldn’t believe that I had been upgraded to a Bernette 38. Perhaps they were short on my requested machine, but I know I will be purchasing any needed products from Ken’s from now on.

My experience with Ken's has been stellar. In the past few years have purchased 4 machines and other accessories from them. Purchased a Janome 9400,what a sweet machine and three other Janomes, two as gifts for my neices. They are as pleased as I am. Am partial to Janomes always reliable and easy to use. At the ripe old age of 78,decided to learn to quilt. Fortunately I am about 70 mi. From Ken's. Needed some assistance with setting up and learning about free motion quilting on my 9400.. Jeremy patiently assisted me and I am having a grand time learning now. Highly recommend Ken's .

Bought a new Brother Pacesetter Inno-ís PS500 sewing machine a couple weeks ago and could not get it to sew as it was knotting up the thread near the bobbin. We went in, asked Brad if he could figure out what the machine or user was doing wrong. He set it up and right away noticed one area that was threaded wrong. Brad had it purring like a kitten in 5 minutes! (It was the user, not the brand new Brother Pacesetter Inno-ís PS500!). We will definitely be using Ken's Sewing exclusively for our sewing needs!
