As others have mentioned, Dr. Hammud's clinic is a blessing to this entire region. I've had several therapeutic treatments with Dr. Awatif Hammud including acupuncture and cupping. She is truly the best, so caring, and professional. She is excellent, especially if this is your first time receiving one of these treatments. She's very attentive and caters the therapy to each patient. Dr. Awatif Hammud has been providing me with palliative care since January of 2017. I have been her patient since 2012. Her steady precise placement of needles relieves my pain and the feeling of wellness lasts until my next session. I receive weekly vitamin B-12 injections at the same acupuncture points, which promotes healing. I share my monthly bloodwork and medical reports with the doctor and we discuss nutrition, supplements, exercise and upcoming scans. I look forward to my weekly visits and most times am relaxed through the sounds of ruqya, the rubbing of the quasha, and dry cupping. I have also had hijama in this same sterile, tranquil environment. In addition Dr. Awatif leaves me with ear seeds to continue the therapeutic effects of treatment in between visits. Her professionalism and expertise are the two key components that make me choose her over and over again.

I am glad I found this wellbeing gem in Tampa! I used to have chronic knee pain in my knee for over 5 years and I have tried everything from surgeries to stem cells injections with no real results. This all changed when I met Dr.Awatif. She has a unique background of both modern medicine and Chinese medicine. After 3-4 sessions of wet cupping (Hijama) and supplemental acupuncture, all my pain disappeared! To me this clinic was life changing. All the healing and recovery is in the hands of Allah but you also have to find the right professional person who knows exactly what their doing. بسم الله Firstly, l'd like to convey that hijama has no healing bias... it's a holistic treatment, cure for all people regardless of your beliefs. Today...no more than 8hrs has passed since my first hijama session w/ Dr Awatif...the immediate relief, drastic improvement and overjoy as a result compelled me to write this review. I was long overdue for my hijama after coming back home to the states, as finding a legitimate hijamist is somewhat a challenge in the US. I was experiencing blood circulatory issues in the lower parts of my body -causing fatigue, heaviness in the legs when climbing and equilibrium issues. Dr. Awatif displayed the perfect bedside manner in her attentiveness and in educating me with her holistic Chinese medical diagnosis. After which my treatment begun and even before my session was finished I felt a drastic improvement of at least 70%. The fact is... I'm a patient that is well in tune with my body...and my years of having hijama therapy made me more cognizant of what my body was missing - that was recharged from today's healing! Please note: not all hijamist are alike - there are levels/grades of a hijamist skills - the same as there are levels to a student's academics. In Dr. Awatif case...her talents are way above par! Dr. Awatif is truly a blessing to her patients w/ her gifted talents. What an amazing experience! I was very nervous and scared but my sweetheart suggested hijama a few weeks ago and we decided to have it done!!. Ofcourse as any curious person I spent hours researching and youtubing videos just to see what it was all about. I was concerned for pain. I found Dr.Hammud and read thru her many reviews which made me a little more comfortable In choosing her for the services. She was so patient with my anxiety and when I wanted my bf to go first she suggested I should so I can have it done without the added anxiety of having watch him go first. She was so right! Throughout the whole process , everything was explained. She made me feel comfortable and relaxed. Her immense knowledge from start to finish will stay with me and I am positive i will be back soon for another session. After the process was done I felt different. I was mentally and physically energized but calm and clear. Throughout my day I was not in any pain as I was earlier before the session with tense neck, shoulder and mid/lower back pain.
