This is an unsolicited review. I have known Michael since 2013 or 2014. He is an excellent and efficient acupuncturist. He clearly values taking time with people to understand their needs for treatment, and likewise to help them understand treatment options and outcomes. He truly cares about the whole person and takes a systemic perspective on healing. It comes through in his work with people. My wife and I achieved many benefits from seeing him. He also has a sense of humor, so even in seeing him in tough times, I felt better afterward. Just like in psychotherapy, healing begins with the first call. If you have not tried acupuncture with Michael, please don’t hesitate. Make an appointment!

I've been completely thrilled with the quality of acupuncture treatment and results I have experienced working with Michael. I suffer from chronic nausea, pain in my back, low appetite, as well as cramping in my stomach, and have sought both Western and Eastern medicine as a remedy in the past. After significant batteries of tests run by traditional doctors, they were still unable to account for my dramatic loss of appetite (and with it, weight). During this time, I had discovered that Eastern approaches provided me more relief, and experienced major recovery through acupuncture. When my symptoms started returning, I was lucky enough to find Michael for a consultation and treatment. Unlike every other practitioner I had dealt with, Michael explained why many of my symptoms were occurring (rather than simply performing treatment), was able to teach me techniques to become more mindful of my body (and with it, discover patterns which gave clues about why and when symptoms would flare up), and to develop a strategy of improving my nutrition in a step-by-step manner that wouldn't upset my sensitive stomach--moving me away from low-nutrient foods I "felt safe" with, while still telling me what I could and couldn't handle in specific as I moved to a more inclusive diet. In addition to all of this, he is an excellent and skilled acupuncturist; the treatments which he has provided to me have been the most comfortable (least painful) of any acupuncturist I have seen. Finally, and very importantly, Michael has an amazing bed-side manner. In a world where the patient-doctor relationship has assumed a "take a number" dynamic, Michael provides a real and sincere concern about the patient as an individual--he practices what Eastern Medicine preaches, realizing that people are wholly unique and must be understood in order to be healed. The ideal healer-patient relationship is one of concern, active listening, and thoughtful care--Michael excels at this. If you are seeking an Eastern Medicine approach to your health or wellness problems, please at least give Michael a call. Even in a short interaction, I think you will recognize the intelligence and personality that makes him such a quality practitioner.

Michael is a supremely adept practitioner trained in multiple acupuncture disciplines who is acutley attentive to his client's needs and expectations. The healing starts when Michael Dabrowski enters the room. He is totally focused on his patient, carefully listens to his patient history and is fully engaged in the treatment. He poses thoughtful questions to clarify all facets of the medical problem. Michael truly understands the thousands years old alternative medicine. His unique knowledge of both, Japanese structural acupuncture and Five element acupuncture gives him an opportunity to offer a more successful treatment.
