Dr. Zhang has helped me improve my quality of life through the use of her acupuncture and acupressure techniques. I am able to continue my daily activities as well as having begun an exercise regiment since under her care. I am losing weight and feeling great!

I have been going to the doctors and getting injections that only worked for a few weeks. As soon as I started coming to Zen I didn’t need the injections for the pain anymore. The doctor there examined me and started treating my back and in less then a week I started feeling a change and now I am able to do things I was not able to do in a long time. Dr Zhangs Acupuncture treatments have been nothing short of outstanding. I have suffered for over a decade with lower back pain. I have had multiple chiropractor visits with negative results. From the first visit Dr. Zhang’s treatments have alleviated the majority of my pain. Prior to her treatments I thought I was destined for electrical implants or a back operation to fuse my spine. Finally, there’s light at the end of the tunnel.

15 years after blotched neck surgery that left my neck, right arm and hand and hand swollen and with high levels of pain, the VA had given up on traditional treatments and sent me to Zen for acupuncture. The first 5 visits were non-productive, with only temporary relief to small sections being treated, but number 6 was a life changer. In consultation with a nerve specialist from New York, Dr Zhang applied press needles to a spot on my wrist near the radial artery where the median nerve was close to the surface. The press needles “confused” the pain signals from my neck. The result was astounding. I had a sense of touch in my thumb and forefinger for the first time since 2006. My pain level (rated at 6) was not diminished, but it did not increase with activity to an 8 with physical activity or stress as in the past. My fingers were swollen still, but I could feel. I bought a set of metal shelves for the joy of screwing nuts on bolts with my now useful fingers. I was skeptical about relief after the first 5 trips, but am glad I gave her time to figure it out.

After my accident, I was left with chronic pain. Since I’ve been coming here; pain has decreased and my range of motion has increased. The people are awesome and I recommend them to everyone I know.

I had many issues when the VA sent me to Zen Acupuncture, Dr. Zhang is totally amazing. I love this woman. I still have a few issues but nothing like when I first started. After my first treatment I noticed improvement in my ability to move. Dr. Zhang has the hands of an Angle. Both Dr. Zhang and Mr. Kevin are down to earth and truly care about your treatment. Oh if you go to see Dr. Zhang do not try to hide painful issues or BS her she will see thru it.

I am amazed with this faculty! My wife was sick for almost 3 weeks, and after one visit to this office she was practically cured. When we first arrived there she had a horrible cough, body aches, horrible congestion, and a sore throat. The doctor did some acupuncture and wet cupping to her and by the time we left she quit coughing and was getting her voice back. I was skeptical, but it was truly amazing. We will continue going here for everything. The doctor is also very knowledgeable on everything health related. She believes in a lot of natural remedies and is willing to spend time with her patients making sure they are cured. I highly recommend!
