As a soccer player who has suffered with chronic back pain and a stiff neck for over 2 years, I finally addressed it after my wife gifted me a session of acupuncture from this charming spot in Mid-City. I’ve had 2 sessions so far and feel terrific. The nurse and doctor are very warm and polite and the doc knew exactly where my pain and tightness was located. I literally feel like a new man and can swear by this treatment for its effectiveness! Thank you.

Can't fake results. My daughter had shoulder pain that had mystified regular doctors for years. Desperate, I took her to this place and, over the course of a few months, the pain was wiped out and she became my regular active daughter again. Doc also gave beneficial tips on stretching and exercise to be done outside the clinic (at no financial benefit to him) that sped and maintained the recovery. The support staff is helpful and warm.

I don’t normally leave reviews but I give Dr. Peter Zhang 5 stars! I have been suffering from what I thought was a pinched ulnar nerve in my elbow and I went to see Dr. Peter Zhang and he said it was not my elbow, I needed to treat my neck. Well 2 months later after multiple neurologist visits, chiropractor visits, a nerve conductivity study of my elbow, and an MRI of my neck, and he was right it was a “pinched nerve” or radiculopathy in my neck. I am on my 8th acupuncture visit and am almost cured. (It takes 6 weeks to 6 months to heal). Thanks Dr. Zhang:)

I have been a patient of Dr. Peter Zhang’s for more than 5 years. He is a brilliant diagnostician and healer. His immense skills are controlling my lower back pain from L4-5 herniation, my neck discomfort and he has healed a bout of diverticulosis and a kidney infection. I completely trust him to keep me healthy and to keep my pain levels in the most easily tolerable ranges.

Dr. Zhang and Gretchen are so welcoming and offer excellent one-on-one attention to each patient. I appreciate their holistic approach to healing the human body; please note that this may mean you are treated for something you didn't come in for, as your pain may be a symptom of a different issue you may not even be aware of.

If I could give this place 10 stars...I would. I arrived at the clinic in driving rain, and was met by a very sweet assistant that held an unberrellab and helped me get out of my car and up the steps. I have sever nerve damage and the VA tried dillengently to take all the pain away with drugs and operations with good results but never managed more than 60 percent of it; the Dr. here managed to bring it to 85. Good enough for me; I haven't felt this good in many years.
Thank you guys so very, very much.

Was here on vacation and had a back flair up - never tried acupuncture before but definitely found it to be helpful to reduce the amount of pain! Very friendly and professional.
