I am extremely thankful I found AlterMed and CB! I had sciatica pain that was lasting longer than normal and the pain was more than normal. It affected a significant amount of my life from my sleep to my ability to walk. I had been experiencing pain for about a month and a half and after attempting other remedies such as rest, stretching, chiropractor, float spas, etc., the pain just wouldn't leave, so I gave AlterMed a visit. Both GiGi and CB are friendly people. They are easy to connect with and care about your treatment and feeling better. I had about 4 treatments total, but after the first treatment the pain was significantly lower. After my last treatment, the pain is completely gone, and I am back to my normal life. I love their holistic approach and that there is more to his treatments than just the acupuncture. CB talks to you about what to do at home, nutrition, etc. If you are dealing with pain or looking for an acupuncturist, I would highly suggest AlterMed!!! I'd like to point out that visiting AlterMed was my first experience with acupuncture and I am fearful of needles, but that was not at issue at all. If that is what is holding you back, I would definitely push through that worry and give it a try. Thank you CB and Gigi!!!

I had a 10 level thoracic fusion. I was 3 months post op and was unable to lift my arms above my shoulders. With in the first visit of acupuncture and cupping, I could raise my arms a little higher and higher. By the 4th visit I could touch my hands together above my head! My nerve pain decreased 70%. My muscle pain and stiffness decreased so much I didn't need my pain medicine. This saved me! I can get back to my normal life. Thank you for all that you do! I highly recommend if you have back pain, muscle pain and stiffness, nerve pain or mobility issues.

I started getting treatments after an outbreak of shingles. A few treatments later my skin was healing and most thankfully, the burning nerve pain was also subsiding. Not only was it physically helpful, the treatments were relaxing!

No longer skeptical....CB knows his stuff...i had been seeing my chiropractor on a regular basis, and a physical therapist to try to get some relief from my chronic neck pain which I have been suffering through for 3 years, with no relief from either. I had 6 sessions of acupuncture and cupping and my pain is now just a tightness in my neck. Also, his herbal concoctions have cleared up some other issues that traditional medicine was not effective with. Even though I don't particularly like to be stuck with needles, I'm looking forward to more sessions with him!! Thank You CB and Gigi for the personal care!!

CB and GIGI are amazing! Such a personal touch to everything! CB knew all my issues with in the first 5 min of the apt just via my pulse! This is as good as it gets as far as Acupuncture. She was trained in China and really knows her stuff. I first went to Li Wang last year for a tennis elbow issue that would not go away for over two years. I went to a few doctors and they gave me anti inflammatory drugs and told me to stop playing tennis for awhile. I did all of that and the pain would still not go away. I heard about Dr. Wang from a group I am in and decided to give it a try. To say that the treatment was normal would be lying. This is not like going to a western doctor. She stuck needles in me and also burned some herb that was attached to needles that were stuck in the elbow that was in pain. I was a little skeptical to say the least. What the heck was this all about? I went to Dr. Wang for three sessions and the 2 years of elbow pain were completely gone by the end of the third session. Amazing!!!! I have since gone back for other issues and she has done an incredible job at helping these issues too. I would not hesitate to recommend that if you are thinking about acupuncture, she is the one to go to.
