After experiencing gut issues for months/years I became very curious about colonics and how they could assist in my gut healing journey. After doing a lot of research, I decided to reach out to Thrive Holistic Medicine and schedule a colonic appointment. I can truly say it was the best decision I could’ve made; my overall health has transformed thanks to Thrive Holistic Medicine and the knowledgeable, kind staff. After the first colonic, I noticed a significant difference in my gut health/function; I was hooked. Since that first appointment I have been working with Dr. Simon to further explore the root cause of my digestive issues and she created an individualized treatment plan tailored to my specific needs. I can honestly say I have not felt this good (digestively, but also mentally and physically) in years. I’m very grateful for the staff at Thrive Holistic Medicine. They create a compassionate, nonjudgmental, and positive environment for healing. I cannot recommend Thrive Holistic Medicine enough and colonic therapy. I want to add that I’ve had colonic sessions with Dr. Joerges and Cap at Thrive Holistic Medicine as well, and both these women are incredible too.

Simply an amazing group! The front desk staff is super friendly and always quick to answer any questions you might have. Dr. Janice is genuinely the kindest woman. She connects with you in a way that makes you feel like your health is her top priority. She has helped me navigate menopausal hot flashes. The Neurostructural Integration Technique has given me great relief from regular hot lashes and allowed me to continue my life in more comfort. I am extremely happy to say that I now have very little episodes and some days none at all.

The services provided at Thrive Holistic is nothing less than stellar. Cap does my colon hydrotherapy sessions on a monthly basis. I always feel so much better and lighter after each visit. My skin is brighter. I’m much more regular. I’m just healthier internally. Working with Cap is such a breath of fresh air. She is so nice and insightful. Our conversations are so enlightening. Yesterday, I had a chance to experience a colon hydrotherapy session with Dr. Mary Simon. My experience was nothing short of AMAZING! I felt so relaxed and knew that I was in good hands during my session. The service was exceptional from the time that I booked my appointment until the end of my appointment. Dr. Simon took her time explaining the process and what to expect. Contrary to other reviews they are in compliance with COVID protocol. Everyone had on mask and the space was sanitized. Nevertheless, I can’t wait to go back for my next session!

Dr. Simon does a great job of explaining the naturopathic approach to healing and treatments. I appreciate that she addresses the mental/emotional aspects as well as the physical aspects to determine the best treatment plan for the whole mind-body system. Her treatment plan was truly holistic. I also met with her preventively to be prepared for potential illness. Later when I got sick, I was grateful that I already knew what to do to take care of myself. I felt that she spent the time needed with me without ever rushing, but she also didn't try to oversell or make it more expensive than necessary. She is a wonderful doctor.

omg! ok so I have been constipated for a while. I had ignored all the signs to get my colon checked out but i said enough is enough. I faced my fears and I did enough research on the company and took a leap of faith. Im so glad I did. The office was super clean and quiet. My experience was the best . I even cried tears of joy afterwards. I know I got well over my money worth for sure. The nurse was very patient with me and gentle thats what i like the most. I feel very light now. I had a really good bowel movement that i never ever out of my 31 years of living on this earth had. Im going back in a couple of days. I highly recommend this place. If i can do a higher rating I would. Please go here ..

I came to Dr. Simon with gastrointestinal issues that had gone undiagnosed by traditional doctors and specialists for years. By the time I entered her office, I was physically and mentally depleted. After our first 90-minute consultation, I knew I was already on the track to healing my body naturally. Through a few rounds of different supplements to restore my gut health, I'm now back to normal, back to a healthy weight, and know what foods to avoid. She breaks everything down to the science, but in a way that's easy to digest (ha!), which I loved so much. If you're struggling with GI/diet-related issues, I cannot recommend Dr. Simon enough!

So I’m basically obsessed with my great experiences at Thrive Hollistic with Cassondra! I was introduced to the idea of a colonic about a month ago, and at that point I’ve been dealing with both digestive and skin issues for quite awhile, so was willing to give anything a go. Cassondra made it so comfortable, not at all awkward, and has always been so helpful in answering all of my (many) questions! I’ve seen her a few times myself now and have already sent multiple friends of mine to see her as well. Within just a few weeks I feel absolutely amazing, not bloated, digesting food better, my skin has improved so much, and my energy levels are so high. Colonics will now definitely forever be a part of my health + wellness routine and Cassondra will always be my go-to!

I decided to give Thrive Holistic Medicine a try earlier this year. I had a free 15 minute phone conversation with Dr. Simon where she asked basic questions about what my issues/goals were. Despite the high price ($250), I decided to schedule an initial consultation with her in hopes she could help me heal my body. You have to put your card on file when scheduling (understandable) but I was very surprised when the funds came out of my account right after scheduling rather than the day of the appointment. I didn’t think anything of it at the time, but in hindsight that should’ve been a sign to cancel and save my money. She and her staff are all very kind and the atmosphere in the office is very clean and nice. After about an hour of speaking with her, Dr. Simon gave me a few recommendations for how to proceed with food sensitivities, supplements, and a detox. She brought multiple supplements and a detox powder in to the room, some which I couldn’t even see a price tag on (my second sign to not move forward with this process), and suggested we start with those. She did seem conscious of financial impact and offered to wait on a few of the supplements to save me the money (temporarily), but strongly suggested the detox. I will say it was at this point I started to feel a little funky - a voice in the back of my head was trying to tell me all they wanted to do was sell me things (why couldn’t she just help me figure out a detox using just whole, healthy foods?), but I believe in holistic wellness and I know it’s structure is not the same as our usual Western medicine and decided to put my trust in her and this clinic. Putting my faith in the process and thinking a detox is probably the best way to “reset” my body, I agreed and purchased the powder along with some other supplements. When I checked out, I was (again) surprised to not receive a clear, itemized receipt but did not inquire to get one. My third red flag at this point. I got through one full day of the detox powder and started the second day when (only a few sips in) my body completely rejected it and sent me to the bathroom to violently vomit. It was so bad my throat was bleeding and took a few days to heal. I immediately messaged Dr. Simon and asked for a refund. In her first response she did not address my request, so in my second message to her I asked again. She granted me a refund only if I would return the powder. Now, I’m not sure if they just want to make sure I didn’t actually finish it or if they just have this policy as a deterrent to keep people from actually getting a refund, but either way it was pretty inconvenient. SAVE yourself the $88 and don’t do the detox with that powder. I should also mention, the messaging system is even strange. You don’t just email her, you can message Dr. Simon through a portal they have. The strange thing is that you can only send 5 messages “for free” until another visit is required (another $100). Yet another flag for me that they just wanted my money. But hey I really wanted to try it out and believed they had good intentions and even better care… Despite being unable to simply email with her about said care and my healing plans, I got plenty of emails from Thrive and Dr. Simon about sales, giveaways, etc. In the span of about 30 days I got 17 emails just for promotional things. That was apparently the final straw for me that made me want to leave this review, because I simply don’t think if I am trying to receive care (whether holistic or not) that I should be receiving so many emails from the office trying to get me to buy things and/or services. Dr. Simon does seem to really know what she’s talking about. She’s kind and patient, a very good listener, and did have suggestions for how to work with my insurance to get specific labs covered. But unfortunately, for me, the kindness was not worth the cost and feeling like I was just someone they could get money from. 4 stars for office atmosphere and staff customer service. 2/3 stars for trying to oversell and weird return policy.

My experience with the Colonic went really well! Cassandra was amazing!!!! I did 3 sessions at the beginning of the year and my results after the 1st session alone was this: * I had an unusual cold with extremely thick mucus, but after the colon irrigation, ALL the thick mucus had passed through within the same day. The color went from thick greenish yellow to clear and thin. * My bladder issues were not noticeable anymore. That same day I didn’t have to get up to urinate 6-7x in the night like I normally did prior. I’m not sure how my colon was linked to my bladder problems, but I no longer have the issue anymore. * Also I had felt an unusual feeling in my stomach prior to the cleanse & it seemed like a stomach bug was just sitting in one spot of my upper intestine for 3 months. It was very uncomfortable and made me feel nauseated most of the time but somehow it was able to pass through after the 1st session as well. Cassandra said the stomach bug (parasite) couldn’t go anywhere because there was so much gas and air trapping it in!!!! * My stomach is obviously flatter and doesn’t look bloated anymore. * My thoughts are better and so is my mind, I don’t feel depressed and down. I’m so glad I did this. I was afraid at first but Cassandra makes you feel very comfortable! 😊 Thank You!

The colonics provided by Cassondra have been a physical and mental live-saver for me, after regular doctors were of little help. Last fall I suddenly began having constipation so bad I could not go at all. A colonoscopy was unable to be completed because I still had stuff in my ascending colon [on the right side] despite all the prep work. It took three potions from my GI doctor to get anything to come out daily, though very little did. Feeling helpless and out of options, I remembered the term "high colonic" from the comedy "LA Story" and found Thrive Holistic using Google. Cassondra has "worked me over" (gently but firmly) for quite a few sessions that have released the old fecal material from my colon. I've added fiber to my diet and my colon is now working the way it should. I still need to improve my diet, but I feel better (colon-wise) than I have felt in years. Side note: When I saw my GI doctor as a follow-up to the colonoscopy and mentioned the colonics, he thought that harsh chemicals were used. (No, just filtered water, I told him.) When I saw my regular doctor and mentioned the colonics, he had no idea what I was referring to. I had expected to get chewed out for doing colonics, but both doctors could physically feel the improvement in my colon. Maybe they learned something. I sure did.
