It's my three-year anniversary with Acupuncture & Holistic Health Associates:) I started out going a couple times a week for an injury to my left arm/shoulder, and over the past three years acupuncture has helped me with so much more. I'm reduced to going once a month now because my body's functioning has gone up. What I like about Curry's method is that you are retested consistently to see where you're at and readjusting treatment as necessary. Although I wasn't going when I had COVID THREE TIMES! there are after-effects they were able to address. I then got shingles as an after-effect of COVID and again didn't go during that period, but now the various aches and pains and nerve pain have pretty much resolved. I can't say enough about the entire office's concern, compassion, and positive energy. Grief also plays a huge role in your body's well-being, and acupuncture definitely played a role in navigating my body's reaction to my brother's death. That has been a bit over two years ago, and I'm feeling so much better now physically, mentally, emotionally & spiritually. Somehow acupuncture addresses all of these things. Very understanding when I needed to change an appointment or I'm running late. HA! Definitely has been worth my time/money and 1-hour drive commitment. Consistency and commitment to your well-being will definitely pay off in dividends and you'll feel so much happier!! Curry, Phil, April, Morgan and all the associates, you're the best!!!

I am grateful to have found Dr. Curry and his team, they do such amazing work! I originally started attending acupuncture sessions because, at the time, I was experiencing odd pains in my chest. I am pain free now, which is a great feeling. While attending sessions to heal the symptoms behind my chest pain, acupuncture has increased my blood flow circulation (no more cold hands and toes), and reduced inflammation throughout my body (no more lower back pain). Beautifully, acupuncture has eliminated my PMS cramps and other PMS pains. And, legit – my menstrual cycle drops every 29 days, with no bloated feeling.

I have been struggling with I thought was digestion for as long as I can remember. The symptoms included acne, bloating, body/joint aches, hair loss, painful periods, etc. I had already changed my lifestyle to include weekly yoga, weight training, daily exercise, and a very specialized diet (Bean Protocol), and I still didn't feel good. I was referred to AHHA by a friend who told me about the discounts associated with referrals, and I decided to try it. April and Morgan interviewed me and listened so intently. I remember feeling crazy answering their questions. I felt like I had so many things wrong with me. I said, well, this is why I'm here! They set me up with weekly appointments where they treat the depth of the problem-- including circulation, blood flow, the liver, etc and this affects the entire body! I love the care I receive! I walk in and Alyssa and Melissa are so kind and accommodating with my needs. This is the first medical service I have ever been a part of that treats the depth of the problem-- not just the symptoms! Their entire staff is a strong team, they teach as they go, they communicate clearly and make space for me. Every single time I walk into their office I feel completely cared for. I wholeheartedly recommend Acupuncture and Holistic Health Associates to anyone who is suffering. In a couple of months, I feel terrific! My symptoms have gone away by 60% and my hair is no longer falling out! My skin glows and my joints don't hurt. And together, we have developed a plan to sustain this into the future. Curry and Philip are terrific acupuncturists and share their knowledge and take great care of their clients. They love what they do and it shows!!

I can not say enough about Curry and his team! As a sonographer of 8+ years, I injured my shoulder. The repetitive motion of the career ended up catching up with me. I never thought I'd be the one injured. It got to the point where I couldn't even cook because the simple movement of using a spatula hurt so much. I went to PT, OT, dry needling, had medical imaging tests, did stretches at home, and even stopped doing ultrasound for several months. Nothing seemed to help. The pain just kept coming back. Tears led to more tears. The feeling of defeat was so strong. My husband recommended I try acupuncture. Never did I ever believe in acupuncture or the treatment behind it, so it took me a while to actually make the appointment. But I did and well...to this day I tell everyone that the only thing that helped my shoulder was acupuncture. Curry and his team made me feel as though I was the only patient. I knew they truly cared about me and were going to do all they could to help my pain go away. They did just that. By no means was it an overnight fix, but they worked with me and recommended the best treatment plan. I started out with treatments 3x per week and weened off when I was ready and feeling better...less pain. My pain is currently not even on the pain scale. After just over 2 years, I now have a treatment every 6 weeks. Just maintenance to keep up on it. I am so grateful for everything Acupuncture and Holistic Health Associates has done for me. I thank God for the knowledge He has blessed this team with. I will forever recommend them because of the way they have taken care of me and truly taken away my pain.

Curry and his team have been an integral part of my healing journey. I've never "liked" needles so acupuncture wasn't of interest to me until my therapist suggested it for helping me manage anxiety and stress. I'm so glad I took up her suggestion! Not only has it helped me manage my initial concerns, the treatments have helped so many other areas, including a knee injury that had been bothering me for years! I have only good things to say about Curry and Phil. Both of them are very personable and made me feel comfortable throughout my treatment. I was embarrassed to explain my situation because I felt that most people would think that I was just paranoid. Curry and Phil understood what I was going through. They trusted that I was being honest with them and made me feel comfortable with speaking to them about my situation. I received the Covid vaccine in September 2021. For the first few days, I had very few side effects. I had minor headaches, and a little dizziness, but nothing too concerning. The dizziness increased. I started to feel weak. I could barely eat. Whenever I ate, I felt like I would pass out. My symptoms change from day to day, but the dizziness stayed. I lost over 20 pounds and I could no longer clean my house and take care of my family. My blood pressure shot up to 200/100 while I was on blood pressure pills. It was uncontrollable. I struggled to get up and go to work everyday, and when I would return home after work, I would just pass out from exhaustion. I experienced numbness in my face and legs. I thought that I had a stroke. I went to the emergency room several times within a 3 month time frame. I experienced uncontrollable tremors. I experienced brain fog and depression. Next, I started to have panic attacks. I would wake up trembling uncontrollably. It was frightening. The first time it happened, I asked my husband to call the paramedics. i thought that i was dying. The paramedics explained that I was having a panic attack. I started to research what I could do to help my symptoms, and I was drawn to acupuncture. I do not believe that all acupuncture is the same. I believe it was the technique that Curry and Phil used that helped cure me of my symptoms. I started to feel better within a weeks time. It was rough at first. My symptoms slightly increased, but that lasted a short time. It was the process of my body healing itself. I called Curry when I started to feel worst and he helped me through it. It took a while for me to completely feel better, but I don't know where I would be if I had not received treatment. I would truly like to thank Phil and Curry for all of their support.

They literally saved my life or at least thats what it feels like. I got a viral infection in December of 2019 (couldve been covid who knows?) I notice symptoms arising Loss of muscle Hair thinning Harder to lose weight Anxiett/depression Lack of motivation I then got covid officially in February of this year and that exasperated my symptoms to a nother tier. I literally felt like i was dying Couldnt focus Blurry vision Painful daily bloating Muscle cramps/muscle wasting Achy arthritic like joints And at least 20 other symptoms. I've been going here since April and I'm amazed at how better i feel. If I had fo put a percentage on it id say im about 75% healed compared to 20% when i came in. The staff here are amazing and have become my second family since im there 3 times a week. After my last re exam we agreed on going only twice a week. They never try to upsell, they only recommend based off your needs. I know this because i referred my best friend and he doesnt have to take the herbs because he isnt as dysfunctional as I am. They couldve easily told him he need the herbs which cost more money but they didn't. I truly believe in their practice .but just wish I knew of it sooner, but better late than never. First off, amazing! The moment I walked through those doors my life started changing. I started going for a few different health reasons, and I can definitely tell a difference. It's the most amazing feeling being able to sleep through the night and finally feel refreshed when I wake up. My anxiety is basically gone, no more need to wear my elbow brace or having my hand going numb, knee pain is so much better barely have any now and I feel so much better overall! I wish I started doing acupuncture earlier. I can't express how thankful I am. I look forward to my appointments and feeling so relaxed and refreshed afterwards. My experience at Acupuncture and Holistic Health Associates has been absolutely wonderful. I arrived almost two years ago with my health failing due to excessive stress and my liver was not functioning properly. At first I was concerned about my health and that is what initiated my visit with Curry. I have since been receiving treatment and my health has gotten back to normal or even better than normal. At first, I would visit the office two times a week for a couple months and now I am down to one treatment a month. I feel wonderful and I am so thankful that I went in when I did to get my body back to optimal health. My acupuncturist was mainly Mindy and she is extremely knowledgeable and an excellent acupuncturist. I recommend visiting Acupuncture and Holistic Health Associates if you are experiencing any health issues that you would like to get under control.

I didn't know much about Acupuncture, it was my primary care at the VA that suggested I try due to my pain in my knees and ankle. I was surprised and greatly impressed with the results. Within a few visits I could walk normally due to no pain in my knees, ankles, and the other issues were corrected with acupuncture. Acupuncture Needles! Scares a LOT of people if they have never experienced the treatments and/or the methods associated with this ancient discipline. Let me immediately ease your mind and tell you that the size and thickness of those tiny thin prickles in no way, shape or form cause you any discomfort (even mildly). Who am I? Just a guy that had some pretty severe shoulder pain about twelve years ago due to overexcretion from lifting something that I should have asked someone else to help me with; but hey… I’m a guy so of course I can do it myself; right? Wrong! The pain was pretty serious and lasted for about three weeks, never getting much better. I was about to make an appointment with a doctor, when I discovered Acupuncture Holistic Health Associates at a local golf show. They asked me if I had anything that was hurting; I immediately replied; “my shoulder”. They sat me down, stuck a few pins in me, told me to relax for about fifteen minutes and see what happens. I did and lo and behold, the pain disseminated. I was impressed. It was the first time that I experienced Acupuncture and was surprised that it was like nothing that I imagined it would be. They did explain that the pain relief was temporary but if I would repeat the process three times a week for a couple of weeks, the pain would go away and stay away. Call me curious, but I needed to know why and how, so I went and I learned, and I became fascinated with the concept because above all; it worked. That was a long time ago and I never really needed to return until this past January when I got hit with shingles in my right arm. Not only were the shingles very painful (if you don’t think you need a vaccine; take it from me; GET IT BEFORE IT GETS YOU), but the side effect in my case was more severe than the shingles pain; I lost total mobility of my right arm… total! If that didn’t freak me out, nothing did. Evidently the inflamed nerves attacked the muscles of the arm, and it stopped responding to what my brain was trying to tell it to do. My doctor said it wasn’t shingles that caused it, a neuro-orthopedic sports medicine doctor said it a torn rotator cuff (it wasn’t). I called Curry Chaudoir, owner of Acupuncture Holistic Health Associates; explained what had happened and asked if he could help. Without getting into too many details, I am happy to report that my arm is 100% fully recovered; I have full mobility, and there is no pain. What they were able to do (and more) was beyond excellent. It helped to restore my life back to normal; and that is something that I cannot ever fully repay them for enough. The staff of Acupuncture Holistic Health Associates are Rock Stars! That simply cannot be overstated. Beginning with their front desk personnel, who always greet you with a smile and a kind word, their highly professional office staff who are always there to answer your questions with a smile, to their outstanding Acupuncturists who truly know their craft and treat you like you were family. The organization is clean, organized and superbly trained, truly caring about you, acts as a unit, and is a genuine pleasure to be with. As a patient, I could not ask for anymore!

I am very selective about the reviews I give. This is by far the best experience I have had for my neck and shoulder pain which was caused by the struggles of life and the stresses that come with it. After tying heat creams and physical therapy my doctor recommended acupuncture and I don't regret one moment of that decision. Yes, it was new to me but I appreciate how the staff helped me to understand the natural healing of the human body is really a time-proven method of medicine. I was very skeptical to try acupuncture for severe back & nerve pain. I had had acupuncture before for a different issue - with limited results - so I wasn't sure I wanted to go down this path again. A doctor actually recommended I try it since I had tried everything else - meds, steroid injections, physical therapy, chiropractor - and nothing was giving me significant, sustained relief. Even surgery was not off the table. I found Acupuncture & Holistic Health Associates online after searching for highly rated acupuncturists. It helped that they had a summer offer to further entice me into giving them a try. My first visit was a surprise. Their approach was completely different than my previous experience. Everything they do is rooted in traditional Eastern medicine. I honestly didn't think it would work, but my body has responded amazingly to the treatments. We started too aggressively & things initially went south for me, but, once we adjusted the treatments, I started improving for the first time in months. I managed to avoid surgery, get off a lot of my medicines, and, overall, just started feeling better day-to-day. I highly recommend this office if you are a chronic pain sufferer like me.

In 6 painless sessions, my shoulder felt better than it had in years and I have not needed surgery. Recently I returned to this practice with severe back pain. Acupuncture has been an amazing experience for me! I started receiving treatment because I was burntout; college, work, and my personal life was all becomming more than I could handle. I have had a great experience since finding this clinic. I called with a severe painful shoulder condition and was able to be seen the same day. After my first treatment I experienced relief. Curry developed a treatment plan for me and I have experienced relief from other health problems as a result. I've had accupuncture at other clinics in the past, however this has been the most comprehensive, educational approach I've ever experienced. I wish they offered weekend hours, but they have been very flexible in accommodating my crazy work schedule.

I started acupuncture treatments for the first time in the month of May 2019 at the age of 42. Previous to this I would go to the chiropractor for temporary relief. To my great surprise, acupuncture as changed my life. My only regret is that I didn't consider this treatment sooner. When I think about how debilitating it was to live with daily throbbing of muscle tension headaches to the point where taking extra strength Excedrine was my only way to cope, acupuncture as truly been my miracle. Since starting personalized treatments in May, I have taken 2 Excedrine. Not only are my muscle tension headaches no longer an issue, but I feel relief of lower back pain, my cholesterol has lowered significantly and I just feel so much happier overall. My experience with Acupuncture & Holistic Health Associates has been nothing short of remarkable. They are extremely organized and explain everything that they're doing. I did acupuncture elsewhere for about 6 months and I've healed significantly more here after just over 2 months than at my previous acupuncturist. The diagnosis process has been key to my healing. Many of my symptoms are starting to wane and I haven't felt this good for many years. Highly recommended. Edit: I have to edit my review. The service is still absolutely amazing, but this place needs to be able to bill insurance directly. I spend about an hour a week dealing with insurance, while my previous acupuncturists who have significantly less patients are capable of billing insurance directly. It's a huge headache and Acupuncture & Holistic Health Associates seem to have little appetite to add this service. I'm happy to change my review once they start billing insurance directly.

I’ve had chronic back pain for about 5 years with no clear cause. After trying several doctors, I was willing to try anything and acupuncture was the answer for me. Everyone there is amazing and knowledgeable, and they explain exactly what they’ll do to help you. I had no idea about the acupuncture when I got an Acupuncture & Holistic Health Associates coupon from Groupon. I just was very curious to see what acupuncture is and if it could help me to get my energy back. I was dealing with a very difficult situation in my life at the time I started acupuncture. I also used to have an abnormal and painful Menstruation. Acupuncture worked like a miracle for me. Gradually, after couple of months of regular acupuncture at this center, my periods got normal with very red blood and NO pain. Unbelievable! I also felt that I got more energy. However, the herbs didn’t work well on me and I wish I had never started them ever. This center is very clean and has a very nice, kind, and helpful staff. I was very comfortable with Curry. He was very knowledgeable and always available to help. Brenda was awesome!! She did most of my treatment sessions. Very kind and helpful! I liked her smile and her earrings. Rachel was also very cool and friendly. On overall, it was a great experience for me and I am very happy that I made it. Greatly recommend this center. Now it is a little expensive for me, but I am going to start it over when my budget allows. Miss you guys and Thanks for all your great services!

I’ve had the pleasure of being a patient at Acupuncture & Holistic Health for a number of years. I was experiencing severe pain in my right shoulder (don’t know what I did to cause the pain). I started acupuncture in hopes of avoiding shoulder surgery. Not only did that happen, but I got full range of motion back with ZERO PAIN. It took some time, but I am thrilled with the results. I continued my treatments which have: kept menopause symptoms 100% at bay, kept me off of thyroid medication, allowed me to sleep very well, stopped me from having lower back pain, greatly reduced the number of colds I get, and a host of other wonderful things. Recently I was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease. It’s a nasty one that can cause me to lose my sight and ability to breath. Nice, huh? It can be treated with steroids, but I do not want to go that route. Upon getting this news, I immediately contacted Curry. Over the last 5 weeks, I first went for some booster-acupuncture treatments, and now I’m getting acupuncture once a week. Mindy also added to my herb formulation. (Of course, I’ve modified my diet too.) Guess what? My symptoms are almost gone. I know I have a long way to go to put this autoimmune disease behind me, but I am absolutely sure I will, and I’m so happy that the first thing I did was contact Curry.

Being trained as a practitioner in Western medicine, I was somewhat hesitant to try acupuncture. However, on my quest to improve my health and minimize my need for additional medications for an autoimmune disease, I decided to give acupuncture a try. Admittedly, I approached my treatment plan with some pessimism, but to my surprise my joint pain and fatigue noticeably improved. My orthopedic Dr. was all for alternative treatment prior to possible surgery which I did appreciate. I have a disc issue; vertebrae L4 has slipped over L5 causing sciatic pain in both legs and a numb foot. I thought I would not be able to remain active and do all the activities that I love. Being newly retired it was very depressing. I didn't know anything about acupuncture and was referred to Acupuncture & Holistic Health Associates. I started treatment in April and have had great success. I am almost pain free in three months of treatment and have returned to hiking, kayaking, motorcycling, bicycling and just plain living an active life. I get "zinged" on occasion but am so pleased with the results of treatment. Instead of viewing acupuncture as a last resort, I will now seek this treatment as a first resort for any other health issue that may come up. If Western medical personnel would take the time consulting as with my initial acupuncture consultation, there would be much more understanding of patient needs and correct diagnosis. As a way of beginning, and let me also start by saying, this little review could never speak to magnitude of how well this group of people and their medicinal practice has helped me on my road to recovery. It was only when I entered this office and under the treatment of acupuncture did I really feel the true understanding of practitioners who really understand how God truly designed our bodies to heal themselves. Within only a month, I have been able to regain functionality that I couldn’t haven’t even dream of was possible. I know this review may not quell some people’s reservations about acupuncture, because it is in our condition to question. I am just saying from my point of view. This ancient practice has taught its students how to humbly heal the body itself patiently, and without a bravado laying in the background which is so refreshing. Meeting Curry and his staff has changed my life. I started acupuncture around 10 years ago for a medical condition that there was and is no treatment for. Curry never misled me as my condition was genetic and would not be curable. I did hope to slow the progress down. I used to get sinus infections so often my body was immune to antibiotics. I have had two or three sinus infection in the past 10 years. I was in a major car accident one year ago and after going through physical therapy my doctors told me there was nothing else wrong with me and the only thing they could give me was pain medicine. But there was still something terribly wrong- at 30 years old I was unable to sleep for more than 5 hours without being in excruciating pain. I Love Acupuncture and Holistic Health Associates! When I started getting acupuncture I was dealing with very painful pain in my left leg. The pain would only come at night and when it did it was rough. I couldn't sleep, couldn't walk on it and most over the counter drugs didn't help. Many nights I just would just cry in pain. That went on for 10 plus years. I went to the doctor numerous times and they never gave me an explanation as to what it could be. My doctor told take pain meds and get cortisone shots when needed. I wanted a more natural way of dealing with my pain and AHHA provided that for me. My experience was great! At my first visit they really took the time to get to know me and my health complaints. For the first time I was given answers to what could be going on with my body and a solution on how to fix it. The acupuncture was painless and very relaxing. I have had an excellent experience at Acupuncture and Holistic Health Associates and have been going for several years on and off for various ailments. When I started, my main complaint was carpal tunnel, which the doctor said that in my case it could only be treated with surgery. I didn't like that option at all and I had a friend who was going to this acupuncture clinic with great results, so I decided to give it a try. My carpal tunnel completely got better like I had never even had it. I had several other issues going on as well like excruciating shoulder pain, bronchitis and bursitis of the hip, to name a few, that completely cleared up, whereas the doctors wanted to give me endless prescriptions that treated only the symptoms and not the cause. The only needles they use are the highest quality, sealed, sterile, single-use needles that are immediately discarded in a biohazard waste bin and the needles are very, very thin, Each time they apply the needles, they open a sealed package with a new needle. If you haven't had acupuncture before and are concerned about how the needles feel, this type is practically pain-free. Recently, I developed a very painful thumb, probably arthritis. Wow, it hurt! I need my hands to do my job, so I refuse to have arthritis! I am in the process of having it treated right now with acupuncture and I turned a corner a couple of weeks ago and it got significantly better. I'll keep having treatments until it is pain-free. I really believe in acupuncture. I think it can successfully treat most anything that ails me. In most cases, I will do acupuncture before going to a doctor. The entire staff at the clinic is very professional, caring, and friendly and have your best interests at heart. It is a pleasure working with them and I know I am in good hands and can expect good results.

When I first started going there I wasn't sure what to expect. I went there for migraines and headaches mostly. I was going to a chiropractor that was helping quite a bit, but I wanted to completely eradicate pain from my life. Let me just say that Acupuncture & Holistic Health Associates does amazing work! It took a little bit of time for my headaches and migraines to be reduced down to once or maybe twice per month (I used to have chronic headaches that I didn't even realize were there because it was my 'normal'), but it is well worth it. They do a very thorough evaluation in the beginning and they feel your pulses in your arm and are able to tell if different organ systems are stressed or unhealthy. Based on the evaluation they come up with a personalized treatment plan for you. It's very bizarre how they are able to know, but it works! Also, the needles don't hurt. They feel like mosquito bites most of the time when they are inserted. You will survive it just fine. Also, if you go in for an appointment with a mild cough and tell them about it, they will fix it with their superpowers. I learned that this week. :) They are amazing! They correct the problem at the source. What they do is not a bandaid solution or gimmick. It worked for me.

I am please to have taken a step toward a better me. I always wonder what acupuncture would be like and if it would work. So, I have decided to give it a try because so many things have started to developed in my body. I now have been attending acupuncture treatment since July 2017. This clinic has an excellent approach and is doing the best job I have ever seen of explaining acupuncture to the uninitiated. If you are new to acupuncture or if you have had lots of experience with it like I have, this is the place to choose. For over 20 years, I have been treated by numerous acupuncturists from the heart of Chinatown in San Francisco to the shores of Lake Union in Seattle. Never have I experienced a spa-like environment like this one. The staff and atmosphere is supportive, relaxing and they do an exceptional job of helping patients accustomed to western medical practices understand how acupuncture works, and most importantly, what to expect. They have developed a careful system to quantify symptoms and clearly measure progress to help us through the process and encourage us to stick with the program. I came in with 163 issues to address, one of the top 5% worst cases they've seen and in one month I'm already 22% improved, and living with significantly less pain.

Six years ago I was diagnosed with celiac, but I was still having major issues.The doctors prescribed Mirilax, which I took for several months. Other than using the toilet a little more, Mirilax did not help my symptoms, and certainly did not get to the cause of the pain. Finally, after two months of being bloated almost every day (to the point where I was uncomfortable) and was still getting pain, I took action! I found AHHA to have a stellar reputation, and decided to check it out for myself. When I first walked in, I was greeted by the lovely ladies at the desk. I filled out some info, and was taken into a room so they could understand what exactly was going on. They wanted to be cognizant of ME, which I find rare in health care these days. After the intake, they came up with a plan for me. It was recommended to have four treatments to start, with the last including a consult of how my body was reacting to the treatment. I had been in pain for a llloooong time, so I knew it wasn't just a waive of a magic wand (or needle in this case) and it would all just disappear. So, I enthusiastically agreed to the treatment. I was worried about the first treatment, since I was very scared of needles. The acupuncturist(s) does an excellent job, and never once made me feel uncomfortable. I noticed my body responding well to the treatments, so at the end of the initial four, we continued on with the same placement of needles. I was going three times a week, and eventually spread the treatments out, as my body was healing. Now I go once every other week. My bloating is completely gone, and I have not had my intestinal pain for six months. I can't explain to you how amazing I feel and how grateful I am to all the people that work at this establishment. The care they put into each and every client is truly outstanding,and I highly recommend Acupuncture and Holistic Health Associates! Thank you AHHA!

I came here because I developed sciatica on my right hip/leg after spending the summer in a boot cast and crutches on my left side. My right side had given in to the wear and tear of bearing the weight load, I guess. I was in very much pain when I came to AHH. I couldn't sit without pain. I admit I came skeptical about accupuncture. AHH spent a good deal of time getting to know my health history, doing a health assessment, and began to educate me on accupuncture's healing mechanisms and wholistic health practices. I also came in over weight and wanted to work on reducing weight to put less load on my hip. They advised me on better eating practices as well and other holistic health remedies. After a few visits I also began the herb regime specifically designed to address my issues. After initial assessment, there were things going on inside my body that I was unaware that needed repair. I've been going now for 2 months and my sciatica is gone. I have way more energy than I used to. I have begun exercising. I've lost weight and still want to continue to lose more. I'm eating better, following most of their recommendations and now I'm in a weight lose plan though church as well. I am also doing weekly chiropractic care. My whole family has gotten the flu and so far, I have not. I attribute that to AHH and how they've helped me strengthen my immune system. They are expensive, but work with you on a paynent plan so that you can continue care. I figure the preventative care is a far better cost than having to go to the doctor, take pain med, high cholesterol pills, blood pressure pills etc and also continuing to see declining health because pills don't fix health issues, they simply treat symptoms. At AHH they treat root causes and work to heal the whole body and your organs. They also reassess me about monthly to see if health issues are resolving. So far I've nade a 25% improvement in 2 months to my underlying internal health issues. I still have more work to do to gain greater health, but I have been pleased so far with the results I'm getting from AHH.

WARNING, this is a long review, but well worth the read.... . I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia, a chronic pain condition, over 15 years ago. Along with pain, I also suffered from chronic fatigue, insomnia, depression, digestive issues, hypothyroid, myofascial pain, chemical sensitivities, cognitive defects, joint and muscle pain, and unrelenting and debilitating migraine headaches. After my initial consultation, I was scheduled for acupuncture twice weekly, and started feeling relief as soon as my first acupuncture session! As I continued treatment, more and more of my symptoms improved and soon I was living pain free! Yes, I said pain free! I no longer let chronic pain rule me, I had my life back! A surprising bonus was a 25 pound weight loss. I really think acupuncture restored my body back to functioning the way it was supposed to. Because of a move, sadly I was no longer able to continue my treatment with AHHA and began treatment with another clinic closer to my home. BAD DECISION! When that treatment failed, I tried yet another provider, after all, I thought acupuncture was acupuncture. BOY WAS I WRONG! Neither of these clinics were able to get even close to the relief I received from AHHA. I cannot express enough the difference this treatment has made in my life. Folks, acupuncture is not the same across the board. The staff at AHHA is incredible, well qualified, professional, compassionate, and committed to their patients. If you are at all hesitant to seek treatment for any reason, I urge you to make an appointment to see what the clinic can offer you. AHHA has been more than accommodating to ALL of my concerns, those concerning my health and including financial concerns. I have returned, had two treatments this week, and am feeling great! I was nearly incapacitated with IBS symptoms for 6 weeks and my doctor had ruled out everything medical. I had a referral for a GI specialist but knew it meant more invasive tests and possibly drugs I wanted to avoid. I have been going to AHHA for about 5 months now. When I initiated the service I was suffering from digestion and energy problems. My stomach was in constant pain, I had to take a nap after I ate, and I just didn't have the energy to really live the very active lifestyle I have. I went to my traditional doctor for a physical, but he found nothing wrong with me. I was resigned to just "getting old," but then started going to AHHA. I really loved all the people I had my initial consultation with. The counselors explained everything to me, my accupunturists have all been awesome, and the office folks are always healpful. I responded immediately to the treatments (although I know this isn't the case for everyone). I did have a little bit of a "healing crisis" in the beginning, but they helped me through that and once that cleared, I started to see incredible changes. When I started at AHHA I was a corporate chef for a dairy products company, and I traveled about 3 weeks out of the month. In the past months I realized that dairy is the thing that was really causing my problems. In addition to taking my herbs (they are blended to each patient for their specific issues), I have cut out dairy, coffee, alcohol, and most meat. I also decided to leave my job and return to running my own business. I've lost weight, I run and lift weights every day... and my energy is back! I literally feel as good as I did when I was a teenager. I was open to accupuncture, but I never realized how effective it was. I was told that I needed surgery on both of my hands from a respected Orthopedic Surgeon that I was working with for the pain in my hands, I had Cortisone injections a few times but that would only last for a month and then the pain would come back. Where do I begin to share my story about how Curry and his team literally saved my life! I will not bore anyone with the details but all I can say is that 5 years ago, I was dying. I was under a ton of stress from teaching career, dealing with many deaths in a short time in our families and dealing with chronic and severely debilitating back pain. Once I began my program with Curry and additionally started going to physical therapy my life was more manageable due to everything just falling into place. Everyone at the clinic is cheerful friendly and excited to teach TCM (traditional Chinese medicine ). I came in with multiple health issues, limited range of motion in my shoulder, tennis elbow, and lower back pain. I have been taking pain medication for all of these issues, but after 1 and a half months, of TCM my shoulder range of motion is almost equal to the other side with no pain. The tennis elbow would have been completely cleared up but I re-injured it, still it is almost completely pain free, the biggest issue was my lower back pain, that has improved tremendously. I have used traditional west medical help for my acute issues for years and I will continue to use it. But TCM has improved my long term issues, so I will also use it. It is not like taking a pill and symptoms are gone, but the process is very relaxing. The cost to benefit ratio is well worth it.

I LOVE my Acupuncturist!! Fell two days ago - down some stairs. ;-o. Yesterday woke up with horrible neck/back issues and then my cold hit "killer" status. Called Acupuncture and Holistic yesterday morn - got in by noon and by the end of the evening my treatment was already working. I started feeing really good with my neck (even though I was sitting at a desk most of the day). AND by morn... i am about 80% better, cold, neck... and a few other issue before this all happened that now feel loads better too!!! WHOOT WHOOT! FYI...Acupuncture IS NOT ALL THE SAME! There is literally eastern and western acupuncture methods. If your acupuncturist thinks this statement is false and or ridiculous - they most likely studied western - cuz they don't want to cure you - they want you coming back all the time.... Just saying!
