I had my first (of many to come!) visit with Sarah today. I went to see her a few specific concerns, but also for an overall sense of well-being. After a thorough intake, on paper and in discussion, of my history, Sarah applied several needles strategically across my body. I didn't feel most of them, and there were only a couple of places where I noticed insertion, but it was never painful, and on each of those, Sarah let me know that I might feel something more. After the application, she left the room as I rested on the table, and within just a couple of minutes, I could feel my body begin to relax, and the problem areas began to soften, specifically inflammation/tightness in my hand and wrist due to carpal tunnel syndrome, nasal congestion from allergies, tension in my shoulders, and an overall sense of heaviness in my body. After I rested in her beautiful space, she came back in and removed the needles, then applied "ear seeds" so the treatment could continue after I left. These tiny little bead-like pieces wrap along the inside of the ear, placed strategically, to continue treatment for another 3-5 days. The real magic happened on the way home though... as I pulled away from The Kula Center, I felt a sense of relief wash over me, and that continued in waves all the way home and thereafter. Now that I've had my private consultation, I look forward to going in for community hours to continue working with her. I'm so thankful to have her services, and I'm honored to see how passionate she is about helping the community.
