Idk if I can love a place more than I love MCA. I've been coming here for years for acupuncture, massages, cupping, chiropractic work and more. The staff if extremely eager and communicative. I love this place

Came here for my first acupuncture treatment. Staff was very nice to work with. Olive was my acupuncturist and she was great! The location has an elevator for those who cannot use the stairs and they charge on a sliding scale. Very relaxing atmosphere. Highly recommend!

I have sciatica, bulging disks, and degenerative disk disease and to help with the pain I have had over 12 epidural spinal injections, on opiums, chiropractors, and physical therapy multiple times every morning was a struggle just to get out of bed it hurt so much and the acupuncture is the only thing that took my pain away after two visits I was back to my old self more energy I would definitely recommend the Milwaukee Community Acupuncture they also are so caring they are so welcoming. You will fill so comfortable with them and the prices are great. So worth it if you haven't tried it I highly recommend them.

Acupuncture here has been very helpful for various ailments I have. The environment is very calm, relaxing, and clean. Staff are very kind and knowledgeable, they are not pushy, and don't try to sell you anything. The low cost of entry makes this a no brainier to try for a health issue you are having. If it works, you've found a new low cost solution. If it doesn't work for you, you're out $15-25 tops.

The employees are efficient, sensitive to the needs of the clients, and very thoughtful. It's also wonderful that it's based on a sliding scale for their fees, so it's available for all in need of relief. HIGHLY recommend giving them a try!

It doesn't get any better than this, and I've been to many different acupuncture providers over the years. Scheduling is super easy and for those of us who work during the day, the option of evening appointments is a godsend. The acupuncturists are highly skilled and I've had good outcomes since starting my treatment. Initially the idea of being in a shared environment was a bit scary, but after my first treatment I was hooked and now love being with others as I heal! The staff are friendly, warm and from the moment you walk in the door it's a healing experience. This place is truly a treasure and I'm so thankful to have it here in MKE!

This place reminds me of home. I find the atmosphere extremely relaxing and I always feel better after a session. I love that they make acupuncture accessible to more people with the sliding fee scale. I wouldn't be able to get treated without it.

I adore MCA– reasonably priced enough that I can come regularly, excellent care and a fantastic addition to the community. Megan is my regular practitioner and she is amazing– but everyone else seems just as great as well!

I really enjoy this place. It is a very affordable way to get Accupuncture, as they have a sliding scale for services. They use a public area to do the needles, but the recliners are super comfortable and I was able to relax with the help of the background music and a sleep mask over my eyes. I give this four stars only because they cannot do some kinds of Accupuncture because they only do needles in your face, lower arms, lower shins, feet, etc, whatever would be exposed with rolled up pant legs or shirtsleeves. It's a very valuable resource for the community.

I have attended Acupuncture twice this far for symptoms of anxiety and muscle pain do to a car accident and within the first session my muscle pain diminished I went from popping Advil at least once a day to nothing and my anxiety even became less of an impact I recommend acupuncture to those who don't wont to be drugged up but for those who want to be natural! Also this place is the most affordable for people w/ low & limited income like myself!

The sliding-scale fee system and online appointment-scheduler increase MCA's accessibility. Be sure to hydrate yourself and keep your mind open prior to stepping inside. Fortunately, complimentary water, tea-bags, and comfy chairs are available in the reception area to help one decompress beforehand.

A year ago I tried acupuncture but the cost at that particular clinic was completely unaffordable. I stumbled upon Milwaukee Community Acupuncture and I am so glad I did. Not only is the sliding scale fee affordable, but I am seeing results. After a month or so I was noticing NO pain where I previously had persistent pain. Also, one weekly affliction-- migraines, have almost completely gone away. I wasn't sure what to expect with the community atmosphere, but it is peaceful and calming and much more comfortable than the expensive clinic's set-up.

The practitioners are all so experienced and friendly, and whenever I have had an issue that they've treated me for, I felt the treatments were a success. I have been coming to Milwaukee Community Acupuncture regularly for a few months now. From the first visit, I loved the experience. It's a very calming, healing atmosphere. I've received nothing but warmth, friendliness, and compassion. The acupuncturists are dedicated and committed to aiding each patient and the front desk staff is welcoming and helpful. MCA has treated me for anxiety, depression, allergies, migraines, jaw pain, and the common cold, all with great results. I had a sore throat literally disappear while in the middle of a treatment. Most things don't just vanish that way, acupuncture isn't magic, but it's been very effective for me in reducing symptoms and making them more manageable. There are five acupuncturists at MCA, and I see three of them. I started with Amy, and see her the most often, but I also see Anna and Olive. They are all amazing women, attentive and caring and invested in my well-being. Each acupuncturist may have their own style, but they keep treatment notes on each patient in order to give similar treatments to what you're used to. This keeps the transition between them smooth. Appointments can be scheduled in person, over the phone, or online (super convenient and user friendly). The sliding scale that MCA offers for payment has been crucial for me to get treated as often as I need. There is no income verification and there is no judgment. No one looks down on me for paying at the bottom end, and they even offer specials some months ($10 for students/teachers, for example). You pay what you can, and that's it. MCA trusts you know yourself best - for how much you can pay, for how often you want to come in, for how long you want your treatments to be, and even for touching on or avoiding certain points. MCA also practices trauma informed care, and unlike many other healthcare experiences I have had, every interaction at MCA has been positive and respectful. Every practitioner listens, is supportive, and goes out of their way to make sure I am feeling safe and comfortable. I can't speak highly enough of these awesome women. Cons: KK traffic can get congested. One of the chairs is slightly uncomfortable. Pros: everything else.

Wonderful, attentive staff. If the building had a modern, dependable elevator, Milwaukee Community Acupuncture would definitely get over 5 stars. For some, climbing the stairs to get to treatment is a deterrence.

I have been going to MCA since they were at their first location and with every treatment I have left feeling rejuvenated, I am a busy mom of three young children and every time I get a treatment I have to automatically schedule another one in order to continue feeling balanced, happy and at peace. The treatments truly feed and heal my body, mind and spirit and I recommend it for everyone needing to purify themselves from the daily toxins that we absorb. All of the staff from the acupuncturists to the receptionists are warm, kind and friendly and they always have smiles on their faces, with their sliding fee scale MCA is affordable and their atmosphere is relaxing and peaceful, it's a beautiful addition to the hustle and bustle of busy city life. I look forward over the years to seeing it grow and to have more MCA'S throughout different parts of the city.

My first time today my anxiety was getting the best of me as it usually does I suffer from terrible severe anxiety and i finally was convinced by my mother to come in and the setting once you start to doze off ive never felt relief like this i know its only my first day but I have hope now being in recovery for 8months that i wont ever have to depends on addictive anxiety/sleeping meds. Thank you Anna you are great at making new people feel comfortable and welcomed, definately giving this a shot and coming in as told too, it feels great to have hope when being in recovery is great and all but anxiety and cravings never go away as a daily struggle I think ive found the natural way out of my struggles :) Feeling optimistic and positive.
